The Minister of Petroleum and Minerals met with the company ENI AUSTRALIA CEPA
Dili, Tuesday, 7 / February / 2023-Minister of Petroleum and Minerals, Dr. Victor da Conceicao Soares, accompanied by the Chief of Staff of the Minister of Petroleum and Minerals, Mr. Valente Ferreira, M.Sc and Technical Advisor for the Petroleum Area, Ministry of Petroleum and Minerals, Engo. Gilsel Borges, met with the team of ENI AUSTRALIA, in the office room of the Office of the Minister of Petroleum and Minerals.
The team was led by the Managing Director of ENI AUSTRALIA, Mr. Ernie Delfos and accompanied directly by Mr. Denis Palermo from ENI AUSTRALIA and Ms. Angelina Branco as Country Representative of ENI AUSTRALIA in Timor-Leste.
The meeting aimed at presenting the products of the ENI AUSTRALIA Company in the region of Timor-Leste, including the activities that the company is doing in Timor-Leste, as well as the transition of the ENI Company strategy, and issues related to carbon Capture and Storage (CCS).
Through the presentation, the team of the ENI AUSTRALIA Company also updated to the Minister of Petroleum and Minerals, Dr. Victor da Conceicao Soares, regarding the Bayu-Undan Carbon Storage Hub, Exploration PSC TL-SO-22-23, PSC Extension and lastly on the Decommissioning of the Kitan field.

Dili, Friday, 2 / February / 2023-Minister of Petroleum and Minerals, Dr. Victor da Conceicao Soares, together with the committee of the Ministry of Petroleum and Minerals, participated in the Land and Property Designed Area Data Publication Program for the LNG Plant Project in Beaco, Maluro Village, Viqueque Municipality.

Timor Gap, the Institution under the Ministry of Petroleum and Minerals, carried out the Program, which involves a joint Inter-Ministerial team, such as MPM, MJ-SETP, MESCC-SEAC, MAP, MAE, MOP, MPO, MACLN, MI-PNTL and Timor Gap, E.P. themselves.

The programme started with the ceremony of the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral, Victor da Conceicao Soares and the committees, through the tara tais ceremony, to the place prepared by the Organizing Committee, to open with prayer and singing the National Heritage of the Patria and to honour the Heroes through a 1 minute of silence, chaired directly by the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral.

Through the meeting, the discussion of the interests of the investment that Meridem Energy intends to invest in the petroleum and gas sectors in Timor-Leste was continued.
The company's representative presented their interest in investing in the LNG plant, pipeline, refinery industry, renewable energy, offtake oil and gas, as well as other investment opportunities related to the oil industry.

My bet will be ENI/Santos and I think they are already in advanced talks with Baron, but will be happy more of them to get in the race :)

That 25mil is probably buy judging by the price at that time the other one is spredbet. Even if they are sells and the price goes up, that's better, there won't be dumping on the news :)

Real names doesn't matter. I am in one telegram group but it's kind of dead lately. There was some talking of organising someone to represent us but I don't know what happened with that. I bought POG after the crash last year, so not much of a LTH but lost sizeable amount. Is there anything happening in the background?

The reserves are there. The question was, and it is, what #TimorLeste will want to do with them!

The last interview about their plans was the pointer where this is going. After so many years, they have even drawn a map, including #Chuditch, connected with pipeline!

I don't even think the CPR is the most important thing that we are expecting. It's #TimorLeste saying YES, we want to go ahead! And that's what they did on TV!

I understand what you saying, I've lost £81k in POG, but if the court is deciding what will happen with the rest of the money, if anything left, then I presume we will get something back. Let's hope for the best and we recover something back.

What is unclear for me is that if not all of the creditors will paid that means money will be left in the company. They will have to do something with those money before winding up the company. The next in line are shareholders, which means there should be something for us?

It's up an running for me, there was a hearing on 19th or 20th and an update from the hearing on 25th of January. What you think will happen in case they don't pay all the creditors?

The court have given more time for creditors to claim, what if they don't approach the administrators and there is money left at the end?

They can have Chuditch for 1/10 of what they plan to invest there :) They have the block next to us and I presume Baron will be more than happy to sell it :)
