This is what was said by Sergey Gorkov, Director General - Chairman of the Board of RosGeo. - in relation to JV with Polymetal;
"I am confident that the combination of the competencies of our companies will put on the state balance new significant reserves of mineral resources, and in the future allow to effectively involve these resources in the country economy within the framework of commercial operation."
“We continue to pursue the strategy of geological exploration through development of joint ventures with competent companies"
FWIW......why did Rosgeo offer the JV ?....is it because they wanted to do a deal with Eurasia & Eurasia only ?.....doesn't make sense, to me, to do a deal, only for Eurasia to then sell it on....Eurasia have the credentials & credibility that Rosgeo want....Rosgeo wants to keep Eurasia 'in the game'......
Hi Arsenalles......only got involved with this stock after taking a beating at SXX...like so many others....never got the bug or had the nerve to go into investing....since I retired, I knew I had enough to keep us going through to death...but after SXX, I felt I needed to try & recoup our losses, we've been in since just under half-a-pence & now average 7p....so more than recouped my losses...
We all know ? it's not only WK that's going... MT has to be going as well, then this represents more than 75% of the company's assets....which, without the JV, is what was originally for sale, I certainly wouldn't be happy with a 40p divi, we all know that these 2 assets alone are worth around the £9 to £10 billion.... IMO

Use shell company for LYBRION ??
Cash shells, also known as SPACs (special purpose acquisition companies) are vehicles that are listed on the stock exchange with no assets other than cash. In most cases, they raise money with the objective of finding appropriate companies to invest in. This can be a quicker way to bring a previously private company to the public markets than an IPO.
The success of a transaction involving a cash shell or SPAC is not dependent on raising money once an acquisition target is identified.
