You do have to love the sheep mentality of the stock market, mention AI, it drops like a stone. It gives us a chance to buy on the cheap and the dividend is really good. As for the immediate future, Mony is strong because it has vast amounts of data collected over years, this beats some chat bot working on information from 3 years ago

16% of my portfolio is LGEN, I reduced my Aviva a little last month and also last week I took some of the profits out of M&G to buy MONY as a trade. I should reduce the LGEN as it's well into profit but don;t like the idea of losing that huge dividend.

Why would they need to issue more shares? companies can trade at a premium to NAV or a discount

It's the same reason that compare the market, MSM and the others haven't moved into the European market, it's different to the UK so requires a huge amount of investment and compliance. Using an app to ask what's the cheapest car insurance for my audi isn't going to cut it. Also, who wants to install an app for the annual task of car insurance?

I just bought some, previously I held these but dropped them as the energy market start to collapse. I used to work for MSM and I remember when Google announced it was entering the UK market to take on the price comparison sites, that whithered and died as the regulations are different to the US. I casn't see how asking ChatGPT for an insurance quote without answering the 30-40 questions would work. If you have a profile with one of the Price Comparison sites, you can re-use your data, I don't think I'd want to upload all of that to the universe.

I have both, although I trimmed the Aviva in January due to it's spectacular growth over the last year. I'm close to retiring so wanted to take some of the risk out of my portfolio, not that I think Aviva will tank but with Mr Trump about, who knows

I took part of my pot as a lump sum just before the red witch stood up. re-invested 40k of it in ISAs (me and wife). I'm still adding to the SIPP but will start with the UFPLS in April 27, taking some from the SIPP and some from the drawdown (crystalised pot). I've left LGEN in the SIPP as I'm hoping for a bit of growth and the Dividend doesn't hurt to increase my 25% tax free going forward.

They will buy into the placing, remove their short that way, of course if they do it'll prove how two faced thay are and the fact they attempted blatant market manipulation.

Perhaps the FCA should tell them to unwind their short position back to their previous declaration and give them say a month to do it.

They lose the rights if they sell the shares, they no longer own them, the new owner of the shares would then own the rights, ArcM still have a debt to the original lender who would want recompense for the rights.

The retail bonds will give them the 2%, they're a good earner , I had some I bought at 67p, was loving the interest on it at 11% after refinancing but sold up at over £1 to switch the money into the shares (that didn't perform that well, straight after).

Shorters can only hold the sare price down by adding to their shorts, ARCM cannot depress the price further without either lying in the press or borrowing and selling more shares, which I guess you could do for infinity , just buy borrowing everything people buy and selling it for them to buy and you borrow it again... They will have to buy the shares back at some point.
