Personal opinion: RY has always said his hands are tied in what he can and can't say. I think this is the time for him to shine, nothing can stop him being open and transparent. The comms should improve immensely and we should hear from him very soon........................ Time will tell whether we do or not!

If that is the case, my bad. I didn't read it like that but you could be right and if that is the case, I cant see the dividend being paid anytime soon.........

It will be interesting to see how Robin plays this out.... The 6 month timer has started and a deal has to be put on the table for Shareholder approval. He must leave aside time just in case whatever he puts forward gets rejected. That doesn't leave him with much time and I would have thought his priorities are with that and not with when dividend is paid to S/H. He will just benefit from the interest from the $35m received last week. If I was a betting man, I would say a del will be put to us by June.... That said I have been wrong before and wont be surprised if that trend continues.

The date of the dividend has not been set yet. It will be in the next 88 days though

I doubt very much if you will get the 1.8p in a few days, or a few weeks in that matter. More like a few months

Can't see the SP going beyond 2p, as much as I think it should!

Not at least end of May/ early June at the very earliest in my opinion. Why would they make the dividend payment knowing they making a killing on interest? Its a no brainer!

I am actually totally baffled as to why Robin and Co. even decided to inform S/H of the transaction prior to receiving funds. How embarrassing would it be if the transfer doesn't make it through. Personally, I would have waited for the funds to be received and them notify shareholders.

Considering this is AMC management, nothing surprises me anymore.
