My broker just rang to ask what I intend to do with the dividends from AMC, I said I will transfer the monies out in my own time. She mentioned monies are due anytime and that payment scheduled for around 14 June, could mean receiving even today or tomorrow. I told her how Robbing operates and she advised, maybe next week then. I said that sounds about right.....

Im a bit puzzled as to why it was a rushed job? They took maximum time to pay the dividend, they had enough time unless they were all away on leave. Not like they had anything else to do

I wonder what action Robbing is thinking S/H would take, sell all shares?

Today's RNS implies there have been discussions with other parties, if this is the case, then we should hear about these in the coming days. Otherwise, as Geng says this may be the only offer they have received. If this is the case, I would much rather have a second dividend payment. Also of interest the RNS says S/H not to do anything...... Does he think we would sell up? I know he reads these boards and I hope he understands how we feel about it.

I'd rather AST does withdraw its offer and saves itself humiliation. No response since November '22 should give you an indication of what management and now, S/H think of this offer.

After the dividends, we can only shop at LIDL, not M&S

Maybe, in hindsight the deal Adam Habib put forward to the board was better!!!

My understanding is if your shares are in an ISA, you dont have to worry about tax at all. If not, then I guess you still have time to put them in an ISA....

... we should all have something paid out

.... a UK resident and with Halifax share account. I have both ISA and normal share dealing accounts, do I need to register with 'signal shares' to receive my payments?

This is also my understanding, but with Robing Young in charge, anything is possible!!!

..... All people need to do is open an Share ISA and you will have nothing to worry about in terms of tax....
