CBS,
I agree with most of what you say, sit and wait has been the mantra for some time now. In terms of the TEO, that, in my view is ready and RY alluded to this in the last AGM presentation/ Q&A session. I personally would be very surprised if the end offer is beyond £200m, as much as I want to be proved wrong.
Been here since 2011 and for the last 2/3 years have wanted to break my affairs with AMC somehow but never had the balls to just sell at a loss. I break even at around 3.5 - 3.75p and 7p gives me around 100% return. Was it worth it for all that wait, given I have just under 2.9m shares, I think it does. I, now believe this may be the time where my affair with AMC may come to an end - I really hope so!
Hi Geng,
Thanks for your input, if I may ask, what are your predictions for the SP for the short term based on charts? I did expect a quiet period following the rns on 25th Jan and I think this may even take us into March, I hope not! I do normally read the board daily but haven't done so for a few weeks because of all the newbies who so called have been here for years yet only posting now. That said, I will keep a look out for your response.
"Some unaffiliated persons called RY and made a seriously low offer (note where the shares were trading at the time), and said if they have to call back and ask again the offer will be half what was offered at the time. "
CBS, I remember around the same time you are referring to Robin said the the person making the offer, go away and sharpen your pencil. I agree it was an offer which was less that the share price at that time. What the SP was at the time, I cannot recall. One thing certain, it wasn't 2p
ForrestGump,
I have just over 2.8m shares in AMC and I have been accumulating since 2009. I would like to think we get an offer over 20p, whenever that happens. Although, personally, I would be happy with anything over 15p. But I am also conscious that if the acquiring company keeps building its position, and if a EGM is called that our votes may not be enough to reject the offer they put to us, that is if the offer is ridiculous, say, for example 8-10p .
On a separate note, nickel stock levels have reduced by approximately 147,000 tons during 2021 with just over 100,000 remaining. I would like to think this is the year where we put close to AMC, one way or the other!
