Final Bump
Will be restarting-updating my fantasy portfolio next weekend

Hmm, Knowing my luck, this bargin SP won't stick around till divi pay day

To continue thoughts of future buybacks . . .

Based on this years results - With Ppi now finished - this time next year Lloy should have a surplus of circa £2.5bn

At current SP that would buyback aprox 4.5bn shares

At that rate - could slash the amount of shares in circulation in half in a little over 7yrs

Who would benefit, and who might have the influence to keep the SP low for this to happen?

And a market leading yield while it happens

What's not to like

No BJ, not from the divi pot, next year's buyback pot could be funded to the tune of £2.5bn from the 'no longer required' Ppi pot
And each year after for the fore see able future

So, let me get this straight

I get the big fat final divi from yr 2019 in May, then 3x 0.674p payable in June, Sept and Dec.

Then the whole thing starts again this time next year with the high probability of added value to shareholdes from the resumption of buybacks

Wow - what's not to like

'Resilient results'

In the run up to the deadline, Lloyds said it had received about 5 million new claims but only about 10% of those resulted in a compensation payment

John Moore, an investment manager at Brewin Dolphin, said Lloyds appeared to be in a "decent place",

I'll be happy with either Adewins

IMO - February's Year End results are likely to be a bit messy due to the final clearing out of Ppi and other past conduct item - Final divi should be secure but we may be lucky to see much extra (ie buybacks etc) - personally I look forward to the fiscal year 20/21, released from all the previous baggage Lloy should produce truly staggering returns, sure will be interesting to see how the market values a share returning 7p to 8p for the foreseeable future
