I meant , what course of action regarding fellow shareholders, whether we force the BOD to disclose to us the current situation. I like the rest of you was lead to believe the hold up was at the door of the regulators, and approval was just a matter of time. The 6th April for me, is when I decide to write this off, or give them more time. All the BOD have to do, is issue some form of communication, rather than keeping us in the dark, which is why we are becoming agitated. I much rather this concludes satisfactory, but the longer this goes on, the less optomistic I am becoming.

The tax year starting from the 6th April and ending the following 5th April, relate to individuals resident in the UK. Companies pay Corporation Tax based on their Financial year end, which can be any date in the calendar year. However a 1st January to 31st December seems to be the most favoured structure to coincide with the calendar year, therefore the companies year end is what they will work to.

I am going to wait until the 6th April, the start of the new tax year, before I decide what my course of action may take. This is purely for personal reasons, others must decide for themselves.

We are promised several pieces of news, so maybe it is a case of publish the least thrilling piece first, to get it out of the way, followed by the more thrilling afterward, there is an element of how news should be published so not to send out mixed messages. The BOD of EUA are trying to negotiate a complex deal or deals with multiple buyers around the world during a Covid pandemic, this is not your average house sale.

The BOD are very experienced and have a sizeable holding collectively, they will not rush the process along merely to satisfy a few nervous shareholders, that is not how the process works, the sooner you realise that the better.

I am perfectly happy and relaxed with the current situation, EUA are in a very strong position, whether it be a total sale or part sale or a no sale, shareholders will be well rewarded, the only difference in the 3 scenarios is the time difference of the reward.

For each tax year, the maximum is £20,000, and I thought it was use it or loose it, but I am happy to be corrected if I am wrong.

The new tax year starts from the 6th April, so not long now either way.
