Hargreaves Lansdown have been charging Spanish Tax of 0.20% since February. Apart from IAG, this Spanish Tax is also charged on Banco Santander share purchase through them.

Because PFC is Jersey registered company. As I understand, Jersey registered companies do not attract U.K. stamp duty.

Agree with you Tom that the drop happened when shares went ex-rights.

Glencore and Centamin are other miners where you do not pay any stamp duty.
Apart from miners following companies also benefit from No stamp duty status.

As WASU says, there is no need for you to do anything. The brokers will exclude stamp duty automatically.
