Indeed, Masaimara, I agree that there are no right decisions but bottomline is damage limitation.

Masaimara, I will not be taking up my Rights (in fact I have already sold my Rights and also all my normal TUI shares) as I have decided that for the time being I want to stay away from TUI. I have been long term holder with shares in my ISA, SIPP and Fund & Share Account but like iParsnip, I too have lost lot of capital here. In the short term, I think the share price is likely to drift lower because I think there will be many people who will not be able to afford to buy their new shares at nearly £5 per share.

Mihir, assuming that you did not buy these shares yesterday (i.e. you had them on Monday) yes you will qualify to participate in the rights issue. DYOR.

Trading in Rights does not start until 30 March, so I don't think they will appear on your account before then.
