If we're relying on Trump to mention SNG then we're screwed.
The product is more than capable without the biggest scam artist on the planet getting behind it.
and how many to the end of July?
thanks, can see them now, but still no alert under Live RNS..
Strange that neither RNS is on LSE. Not seen that before, anyone else?
Will a vaccine be the answer, I certainly hope so.
As for how will the over 65's be protected if they cannot take a vaccine, well thats where herd immunity counts. if everyone they meet is vaccinated then they get protection from the herd.
SNG001 can do a couple of things tho.
1) hopefully be an effective treatment prior to a vaccine.
2) fill in the gaps when a vaccine isn't able to protect people
3) be used to treat a variety of other conditions where the lungs are attacked.
This treatment is likely to improve the bodies response when treated early enough after contraction but it is unlikely to cure everyone. To beat COVID we need vaccines, early stage treatments like SNG to prevent people going downhill and late stage treatments if they do.
Yes, strange that Governments are trying to prevent tens of thousands more deaths with a preventative vaccine.
Would that be the RNS with the trial results that ends in June..
If so they should also mention the capital outlay on the time machine.
SNG targets a specific part of the body (Lungs).
If the ask is to boost the general immune system prior to a vaccine AND Interferon Beta is your method of doing so.
You would just inject interferon Beta rather than using SNG001
A clinical trial isn't a binary thing,
ie everyone who takes it makes a miraculous recovery and everyone who doesn't dies.
Even if say, the first trial at Southampton was going well and 20% more people recovered taking SNG than didn't. The sample size is so small that you'd not be able to draw any conclusions from it.
Similar to buying a share, seeing it's value increase in the first hour and then concluding that this share is worthy of your pension pot is not a smart move.
That why we have multiple trials at multiple hospitals, and only when the minimum criteria has been filled will any regulatory authority give it the thumbs up. Things will be expedited and prioritized, but we still have to fulfill the minimum requirements.
The Recovery Trial is about taking established drugs and testing them.
So injected Interferon Beta could be in the trial.
SNG001 is not an established drug so is definitely not in the trial.
It's an 8 week trial
That's Nasal drops for Interferon Alpha, not Nebulised Interferon Beta.
It's encouraging and shows we are likely to be heading in the right direction but it's not really proving anything about SNG
Fundamental difference between the Recovery Trial and the SNG trial is that the Recovery Trial is testing established market approved drugs/delivery, so SNG001 could not be in that trial.
Interferon Beta could be in the trial, but Nebulised Interferon Beta could not.
The SNG Trial probably has alot more to prove as it's an untested delivery method & a new virus to treat versus the Recovery Trial that is just about treating the virus.
If......
Is why the price is bouncing around, nobody knows if it will work, or if it will work with acceptable side effects.
Hopefully all is going well with the trial, but it's not a done deal.
Well all they can say is that they are into week 3 of an 8 week trial.
Not sure what more they can say, would be stupid and irresponsible to comment on how the test is going.
Vaccines will not be on the market until 2021, hopefully Q1.
Not seen a realistic timeline for SNG001, but we've still got 6 weeks of Clinical Trials.
As for event 201, hopefully people will research it and then figure out for themselves if they want to trust a World Renowned Hospital leading the fight against coronavirus and a group of people who have been actively fighting virus for years, or some guy trying to make a quick buck on YouTube.
Research in many peoples minds, involves finding someone with the same opinion as themselves and then watching them on Youtube. Building an echo chamber and then dismissing everyone else who opposes that view.
Vaccines will always be the key to Coronavirus, but we will always need a treatment too. Some people will refuse vaccines (selfish idiots imo), some people will not be able to take it and others it will not be effective. SNG will hopefully fill that gap as a treatment.
It's interferon Alpha as opposed to interferon Beta
It's injected as opposed to inhaled.
So similar in some respects, but completely different in the ones that matter.
Lets just wait for the SNG001 trial.
"Everyone has different views" - Yes. Fair point well made.
"We have choices in what we believe in" - Agreed, this is one thing that we should treasure and protect..
"He should respect that instead of spouting his thoughts." - Ah.... I really don't think you get it.
I would agree with you if AAL were a foreign company, however seeing as they are a British Company it's not really relevant..
10 seconds of research reveals..
"Anglo American plc is a British multinational mining company based in Johannesburg, South Africa and London, United Kingdom."
