Sapan Gai, CCO at Sovereign Metals, discusses their superior graphite test results. Watch the video here.
Geng - Yes you maybe correct and that's why I sold straight away. There is only one winner and that is the buyer getting AMC at a massive discount. I couldn't see anything knowing the players that would do anything but reduce the sp to effect that. No vote, yes vote just look ate the terms of payment. As TDT says final payment at the end of the 30s.
Good luck.
Tricky
What a classic piece of music. That's what's missing from todays music - feeling.
BB69 - They are the only 3 choices I saw (I'm sure many do/will). I went for the first option as it was the only sure answer. From memory I sold at a little over 1.20p/s. I'm sure I may say damn if it goes back up but I am happy that I got some return rather than the knowledge that in some vague time in the future (10-15years) I might get more. Not for me anymore.
Misled yes and because of that I could no longer trust the BOD.
JPK - I did too but I sold up this morning without any regrets. AMC has given me many years of angst, anger and periods of dreaming but AIM is full of crooked dealers and deals so now I know exactly where I am at.
I could be wrong in not voting 'No' or indeed accepting the deal and hoping that it would be paid up as stated but 15years is too long for to keep 'fingers out of the till'. Voting 'No' just looks like we'd see a large steamroller put into play and I would finish up with less than what I sold for this morning.
I will not agonise over it anymore.
JPK - Unfortunately that is exactly how I see the the whole Robin Young (and Old) debacle that he calls a fair deal as he enthused over it in yesterdays RNS. I now know where I am with this AMC - unable to be conned anymore. The 15years payout means too many opportunities to diminish what is already a diminished end price not in keeping with anything RY has spouted out over the 15years I have been invested.
I thought his words in an earlier RNS when he informed of the original offer that the amount (£100M) needed to be improved. It was but only I suggest for him and his BOD members and of course the buyer. I suspect Norilsk will own AMC eventually for a song. Screwing the loyal investors for a few 10s of £M for what is a multi £Bn pound asset is more than a poke in the eye.
AaBD and Sharpeyes
Yeah - buy them low and sell them high!
Mikewozere - I am not attempting to tell you that 76p is a realistic figure (it's more realistic than 7p). Just responding to Sycho's request re Wendy Durhams famous calculation. I'm sure others will add bits from their memories.
Sycho - My recollection (anecdotally) of this crude calculation was 5% of in-ground value obviously divided by the number of shares. That equals £0.76 (76p). Other estimates welcome. Thats based on £20bn (not £30bn) valuation and 1.3bn shares. Can't get cruder than that.
Surely Cowboy he'll just sell it to the miner/refiner (Norilsk?) for a large mark-up. Or is he setup to be the/a miner/refiner?
TD2 - that's a pretty comprehensive list. Never been to Cyprus and wasn't aware it had this help for businesses. Item 22 is about the only one that requires one to actually go to Cyprus.
TD2 - Thanks.
CBS - Thanks. Sounds reasonable not that I'd know if it wasn't.
TD2 - What's the purpose for Irosta Trading? Not a naive question I'm not an accountant. Is it for obsfucation?
JulianM but the question is there two entities, one acting for the other or one?
Hi TD2 - I've reread this several times and it's good that it clearly says '£" not '$'. These two monetary terms seem to be easily interchangeable as though they are the same thing. And that's been seen today on the BB with both used in one post.
Also you are correct, 'Potentially Interested Party' may not be the same entity as the 'Potential Purchaser'. For me RY has always used loose language that purposefully or accidentally leaves interpretation to reign. Or it is just a lack of attention to detail.
So what does all of this mean?
BB2fromiii - A very good set of questions. I doubt that they will be answered but we all live and hope for impossible things. They and only 'they' know the answers - or do they... Baited breath awaits to see if the BOD are able to act like a responsible BOD.
TDT - Thanks for the chart. Isn't it misleading as I'm sure you said in the past or an article posted stated that China is also stockpiling nickel?
MD - I am interested in what you say re living off-grid. I have 6.7kW of PVs with maximum 4.7kW charge at best during the day in summer because of shading. I augment that with a 3.5kWhr battery. Without changing my power usage (load/quiescent load) I doubt that I could live off-grid mainly because of days like today (in East Midlands). Do you use wind to supplement the solar input? Off-line you can use msretirednotoutATgmaildotcom if you want.
My system is 'use it or lose it'. I have a FIT with one of the main power providers (4kW) with the 2.7kW balance wholly used to charge the battery and provide more use 'it or lose it' power.
Thanks

Cant't get it to work. Sorry. Its an article by clean technical as to why Hydrogen is a non-starter.
