anyone else on interactive investor? I seemed to have received only 10% of the expected dividend. Must be an error - not sure if it is interactive investor or if it is the company. Anyone else received theirs ok?
and again this afternoon hopefully
anyone know? Glad i topped up a short time ago!
topped up my long term hold to average down to £1.50. Think prospects are good with number of new houses being built and people spending money on homes rather than holidays. Fingers crossed.
DFS RNS out today saying continued high demand so looking good here - holding long term and fancy this will hit £2 again soon
dividend announcement should be due this week - fingers crossed it is held
will check them out adv11 - only henderson holding i have but like you say happy with them - GL
Glad i topped up here and now biggest holding in my portfolio given some other share drops. Nice increase in divi to 5.8p per quarter which seems like it will be sustained through divi reserve - very happy to sit tight here and hold for a number of years
i was quite fancying a bit of RR - big blue chip company - looking at share price it has been decimated. Havent had time to do much research as still working - so quickly glanced at HL fundamentals. Shows losses in 3/5 years (net loss not underlying trading), debt rising and had really put me off. Sure there are underlying reasons etc but decided not to get involved for now
Morbox - if you start trading might be worth trying Trading 212 app - i recently signed up for trading small amounts. No fee's basically and nice interface. Still use Interactive Investor for main ISA which despite fees i think is good as the monthly fee is basically a trading credit which i tend to use month to month. If this goes below £1.30 i will be adding.
i am very tempted to avg down but concern would be that coronavirus does get worse and sporting events cancelled - i would have said no chance but already happening in other countries.
I am going to average down - view this as long term income share and at this price even if they cut the divi will still be decent yield imo. Retail had worst year which i think is Brexit related as people tightened belts. Cards are the kind of thing people forget about and need to buy last min so think there will always be a need. Agree on thoughts below around stopping opening stores and concentrating on cost savings however.
i'm no expert but i understand that the movement in provision from changing to IFRS9 goes through reserves in balance sheet and then the movement in year is in the P&L. So for example if provision is £100 under IAS39, but £200 under IFRS9 at start of year... then in year moves to £250. The P&L would only show a charge of £50 with £100 going through reserves on balance sheet. Not 100% sure and not looked at accounts to check but thats how I understand it works.
has anyone sold out yet? I am undecided as to whether to wait for the completion or to simply get out now. Bird in the hand and all that... I was waiting for the offer timetable to make a decision but this seems to be taking sometime. The only upside seems to be another bidder coming out of the woodwork but not sure how likely this is.
The RNS in mid July stated "As we have announced previously, we look forward to reporting our final results in August" - so should be getting results this week. Think they normally announce on a thurs or fri so lets hope a full year of the contract improves the P&L as we would hope and maybe a divi increase!
have they ever announced when the results are due - the delay RNS said early July and the jump in share price today makes me think it might be tomorrow as someone may have had wind of them....?
wow doesn't feel like the RNS merits the fall - no surprise on AIM i suppose. At what price do we average down. If it gets to 30 i will add.
Does anyone know what the expectation on EPS was?
