The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Very shrewd assessment regarding LOMBARD’s position ANDY , and by injecting 40p a share as and when they do also safeguards all other shareholders from further dilution as it will eliminate any necessity of a cash call.
Quite agree with your view JET, never wrong to take a profit particularly in these difficult times.
All ISA’s done and dusted ?
Bucolic ( and others !)
If the Boots raiders are caught they will probably be quite safe as I have heard that the Magistrates there are a rather flaccid lot.
On a serious note - do any of you know if Lombard hold any warrants or options ?
If so how many and at what price ?
The excellent SIMON THOMPSON in the I.C. somehow appears to missed the renaissance of FUTURA which is a shame because back in 2019 it appeared to be his best performing share of the year.
However FUM’S recent progress won’t have escaped either his “scouts” or his notice particularly as a result of some
“ back of *** packet” calculations as suggested by lse 1111 and Crazyears calculations .
Tomorrow is another day !

It’s a pleasant predicament for us “ 90p-ers “ to have to think about Chunky , and don’t let’s get too carried away since it was only as recently as Feb17 when the price was as high as 56.25p. The next major event will be as ,when ,and if the FDA grant OTC approval and then , provided sales via Boots and by then other pharmacies in the U.K. and hopefully Europe
have held up then s.p. should be hovering v. close to £1 by the end of October.
Provided I haven’t found anything that I consider has more potential at that time then I will leave my ISA Fums where they are and possibly take some profit on the ones held in my taxable account. It all depends on circumstances but if things continue as at present I might well sit tight and wait for a bid which must surely follow if the FDA gives OTC consent and subsequent trading and U.S. interest is as we hope it will be.
.Well done J.B. and the team at Futura. There is some way still to go but after years of a great deal of criticism they have certainly handled the last 9 - 12 months in exemplary fashion.
Good luck all Fumsters.
Arturo.
Don’t forget COOPER are the distributor NOT Futura so they may well be discounting in some parts of Continental Europe and not others presumably depending on Cooper’s relationship with individual pharmacy chains .
Fingers crossed it won’t be long before the PRESS have the release of the product in their sights.
You have to be over 18 to buy it and as sb88 is only 9years old he doesn’t come under starters orders !
Quite agree CHIZZY47 , altho’ not all gloom & doom since this gives those with ISAs for current year a golden opportunity to top up at a bargain price on FUM
AS TO DODANDDONTS, clearly a short term speculator who doesn’t know too much about the Company he has put his hard earned cash into , otherwise he would know that Futura has nothing to do with distribution and thus his comment about “ flooding” the market is not a valid criticism that an be laid at Futura’s door.
GLA long term FUMSTERS.
My post of FEB 22 has proved correct regarding the FDA & its regulators requirements .
Anyone disappointed at today’s announcement should have been very aware that a Disruptive
Product like EROXON would be very closely examined by a GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENT which has much to lose by an incorrect decision.
The tone of today’s RNS indicates that what has been queried can only be of very minor concern
as far as FUTURA are concern and with Stock Markets in a highly nervous state this has reflected on all quoted companies where queries or delays might occur.
Incidentally COOPER is a privately owned company and consequently does not have to tell the investing public what is does or doesn’t do.
Today's fall in FUTURA’s share price appears to be an excellent opportunity to “top up “ on a share whose product is now available to purchase with a wider distribution throughout EUROPE as the year goes on.
Good luck all long term Fumsters.
As we draw towards the end of the Fiscal year, let us hope that LBO, that self - appointed pillar of rectitude, does not forget to make a suitable return to HMRC to cover any fees or disbursements that he may have received from those who for commercial reasons are anxious to prevent FUTURA’s EROXON from getting FDA approval and for whom he has worked so hard over the past 11 months.
Despite his best efforts the share price has doubled, but he can at least comfort himself safe in the knowledge that from the
6th of next month he can put a further £20K into his ISA and buy a another tranche of FUTURA shares to make up for his previous lack of judgement.
Don’t forget the FDA is a GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENT and with a Disrupter like EROXON is bound to very much err on the side of caution so we shouldn’t get twitchy if programmed dates are not bang on the button.
GLA long term FUMSTERS.
A kind friend has passed me the Share Prophet article on Futura which reads more like Bertie Wooster than Jeeves. Utilising the same headings.
Efficacy : Eroxon is a totally new procedure combining Speed of onset, Efficacy and above all Convenience. Help to re-kindle your love life in 2023 !
Licensing Agreements : This is a Disruptor product so commercial confidentiality is paramount.
Commercialised at scale: Eroxon will command a premium because of its speed of onset with
no or minimal side effects and don’t forget seeing a doctor in most countries costs money so even sildenafil at £1 a tablet is only a part of the bill
The books : Look at the November Trinity Delta research futuramedical.com/media/2340/fum-update-221110.pdf Plenty of cash for 2023
Bottom line: Assuming FDA approval that’s great , if not then most of the World including all of Europe and Middle East now have OTC approval to ensure success.
Looks as if this could be a DEATH TRAP for Shorters.
Looks as if LIBERUM has got two GOLDEN TWINS for 2023.
FUTURA and the company with the best management in the Construction Materials section

Great to see Futura’s price making steady progress.

FUM’s recent flaccid share price should be stiffened with the application of a little EROXON to the FDA.
GLA all long term Fumsters.
Can’t see a launch until FDA give approval for OTC use.
However interims to be announced next Tuesday 13th and according to the last RNS on Sept 1,
JB, Ken James & Angela Hildreth will be in attendance so we may get an indication as to overall progress then.
Long term Fumsters will remember approx 3 years ago that I.C’s SIMON THOMPSON ( probably the best financial journalist since the late great EDWARD WESTROP ) tipped FUTURA at circa
14p and saw them up to 45 -48p when he recommended that profits should be taken .
Rather surprised he hasn’t commented recently on FUTURA particularly as he seems to comment on an every day basis and tends to specialise in small companies.
Has he missed the boat ?
GLA.
Arturo.
Well done Futura, after years of frustration it looks as if this could be a very very profitable deal for all parties concerned and in particular all of the 22,000 pharmacies who COOPER trade with.
This should also mean that deals already done elsewhere in the World will be ‘kick started’ by this news.
However let’s not get too excited because the real prize, North America, hasn’t yet been secured.
This looks like the basis of a major change in fortune for a company which has had much unfair criticism in the past.
Hope that all fellow longterm FUMSTERS HAVE MANAGED TO HOLD ON !
Sadly I think not ; like the good Dr Nielsen I feel that he will be back in a different guise so don’t count your chickens before they’re hatched - although this is one particular chicken who’s neck I’d be happy to wring !
Incidentally a litigation lawyer who I know who’s wife has shares in Futura put forward an interesting opinion that if anyone was able to prove that by reading untrue or fallacious comment they had decided to sell shares in a company where the price rose significantly within a reasonable timescale afterwards ,might well have a case against the source of the untrue comment and also
whoever might be employing them.
It would however be necessary to be able to quote chapter and verse and of course prove loss , all somewhat time consuming so if Dear Liam has a twin brother with whom he fell out many years ago and takes the opposite view then now might be the time to step forward to earn our eternal thanks !

As you say Bucolic only three posts so far .
No doubt the dear boy was fatigued as a result of howling at last nights new moon !
However would have thought that one of the hacks in his script writing team would have stepped up to the plate to keep the pressure up and earn a bit of overtime with Christmas just round the corner.
Good luck to all Fumsters - have a good week.
Arturo.
Christmas is coming and you’ll have to give your fellow hacks a bonus for all their hard work although they have made very little progress to show for it .
New moon tonight - try not to keep the neighbours awake !
Hope all genuine Fumsters are enjoying the weekend .

Delighted to see Lombard Odier increasing their shareholding.
Clearly aware that good news must be around the corner as are the majority of posters on this BB.
Whilst it might be a little early to celebrate in 2021 , early 2022 could bring us what we have all been waiting for .

Liam, as you are a shareholder and clearly know so much about the Company , when did you last speak or communicate with J. B and if you haven’t why not ?
Surely since you feel so strongly that matters are not proceeding as they should then as you claim to be a responsible shareholder anxious to protect current and possible future investors isn’t it your duty to speak to the man in charge to politely express your concerns ?
It’s very easy to be a Keyboard Warrior hiding behind the veil of anonymity but have you got the cojones to communicate direct ?
I think we should be told.
