Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Good Evening my lovelies!
It's been a wet old day up here on the Norfolk coast. I’ve been soaking wet, the dog too BUT right now the sun is shining on COPL and this board! Some wonderful posts over the weekend, particularly by jiddy123, Tiburn, illusion and many others, thank you! This has certainly boosted my sentiment and confidence towards my investment in COPL. The fact that there have been so many green box posts indicates to me that the gang of TW.@ts are also getting a tad nervous. Very nervous indeed as well they should be. Every day that goes by is a day closer to COPL putting out that killer, defining RNA that will eventually lead to life changing consequences for many long term holders here. You don’t have to be Sherlock to see where the evidence is pointing towards. My money is on ExxonMobil being our JV partner. If this is confirmed it would incredibly good news for all of us invested in COPL. I cannot begin to think where COPLs mcap will eventually be if this comes to pass.
Looking ahead and to a perfect world I would hold onto my shares and hope that COPL pay a very nice dividend once or twice a year but we’ll see. I’m jumping ahead of myself here but it is nice to dream once in a while. Back to current reality it can only be a matter of time before the rumour of Exxon excites the investment world. Is that the clatter of cloven hooves I hear in the distance? Art is building it and they will come. The real indicator of success for me will be when the buy ins from the larger ii and HNW PIs start to roll in. OR ExxonMobil complete a Take Over for $1B+… $2B+… $3B+! as I said, it is nice to dream.
Hang on, don't go just yet because I have a little bit more for you!
Good Afternoon my lovelies!
A much better day today up on the Norfolk coast than it was yesterday when it was pis.. err there was a lot of rain.
What a week of expectation and for some, disappointment. Personally I wasn't too disappointed as it is just a minor blemish in the big picture. Looking forward to the next 6 months for updates on the JV and RBL, if COPL needs one. Progress on either of these two stages will completely change the dynamics of the company, mcap and of course the share price. it's going to be great! Sorry, I don't do rockets to the moon, Ha!
Yes, I know the recent production figures were seen as disappointing BUT were they actually that bad? I think not considering that the waxing issue is still being worked on and they can soo start flaring to stabilise wells. I will be disappointed if COPL production is still the same in September 2023 but I have a very funny feeling this will not be the case!
Some people here were allegedly having 'wobbles'. I had a wobble a few weeks ago but since then I've got myself a new brassière, Ha! Seriously though, I would urge some patience and let the company progress and give your investment a chance. I sincerely believe that holding this stock and if you can increase your holding then do so (caveat DD & DYOR! other opinions are available) you will be very well rewarded in time. How much time is anyones guess but I'm still looking somewher at end of Q2/Q3 2025 for COPL to be well into the £3+. However, a good deal in the form of a JV with someone like Devon, Continental, Exxon or EOG, that will be a different kettle of fish (how is he by the way as I can't see the TW.@t anymore?).
Look out for an updated list of filtered assorted end of bells , TW.@ts and well to put it bluntly people who pi.. err annoy me! There's been a couple more added to the list today. Oh, many thanks to all the fantastic knowledgeable posters here who really help people like me sort out the wheat from the chaff. Hope panamabob is feeling a little better and reccomend a nice drop of something that will warm your ****les (am I allowed to say co.ckles on here?) like a nice single malt!
Art (who is as excited as an exciting thing in exciteland BUT hoping the other Art is concentrating on getting us a fantastic JV deal!)
Hello my lovelies!
It's a beautiful morning up here on the Norfolk coast so I'll make this brief.
COPL own the leaseholds to the land that hold 1B+ bbls of light, sweet crude. IF anybody wants it, ie Continental, Exxon, EOG et al then they are going to have to form a queue and put their bids in. JV or TO, I don't care either way BUT it has to be a good deal for COPL and the shareholders or what IS the point?
As for a TO I'd expect 450p per share as a minimum and that's at todays WTI prices. I fully expect oil and gas to increase especially towards February/March 2023. After a little conversation with a friend who works at the Bacton gas interconnector plant, well let's just say if you think this Winter is going to be difficult, just wait to see where we are with energy security (of supply) next Winter.
Right that doggie needs walking (i think he thinks he's taking me for a walk, Ha!)
Art (who does not fall off chairs unless she's had a gin too many unlike the other Art who does0
Hello my lovely jiddy123,
Wow. WOW! That is some list of idiot r soles(fish?) you have there. It knocks my list into a co.cked hat.
We shouldn't have to do this of course but these creatures make it so obvious what their agenda is that, well you have no other option to not see the shiite they come out with. I cannot waste time engaging with the tripe-hounds. they are as Wellington would say, "the scum of the earth". That was a backhanded compliment to the British Soldiers in his army. The 'scum' we have are a total different ball game. They truly are low life scum doing their best to damage the true investors in COPL.
Other than that they're ok.
Art (who cannot be ar5ed to compare anything to the other Art right now)
Good Morning my lovelies!
I have been away looking after my old Aunt Win who had a nasty fall so I've just spent the last couple of hours or so catching up on the board with a nice cup of filtered coffee. Talking of 'filtered' to my great surprise I see lots of green boxes so I guess the idiots are still with us. In fact I had to filter not just my coffee this morning but Mr_Harmonica who must have fallen off the shelf he sits on because the sound coming out of it sounds like shi.. er sounds awful! So another end of a bell filtered. I heartily reccomend ignoring the TW.@ts
I'm very happy with my investment here and look forward to the September production update, hopefully knocking on the door of 50,000bbls. I'm also looking forward to an update on the RBL which will certainly make the books look better for the long term. Then of course we await news on a JV. Who will it be? And what will the terms be? This will, if it happens be transformational for COPL and I'm pretty sure would in time lead to COPL being taken over partially or completely. Has to be worth £5 a share surely? Maybe thats being overly optimistic or, well you tell me!
Before I go I wish to send Best Wishes to a long standing poster on the board who we all know as Panamabob. I hope you are well on the way to recovery and leave you with a big hug from a Norfolk dumpling (my old grandad used to call me that!)
Art (who knows burger all about O&G but knows another Art who does)
Hi 2857mal,
I understand what you say and I was of the same opinion as you. However, it go to the stage a little while ago where it got beyond being irritating and so I had to take action. Of course I respect other ideas and opinions but there is a limit to the amount of bs I'm prepared to put up with, particularly when it has the potential to damage my investment.
I leave it to you and other good people to call these R Soles(fish?) out for what they are. Many thanks to you and others here.
Art (who is very tired and also hopes that the other Art is getting an early night)
Hello my lovelies,
Well, Well Done indeed for Art and his team for successfully dealing with the flaring issue and the objection. The hearing was illuminating and just showed us all how much work has gone into the Wyoming project so far.
COPLs next important news will be the RBL and JV deal and hopefully we won't have to wait too long for either. This news, when it comes will be the key to opening the door to a huge re-rate in the sp and then to what i believe will be a steady and regular rise each month until COPL reach their true value.
I've had to sadly say goodbye to a couple of characters on the bb today. Why! I hear you all loudly exclaim. Well, to put it bluntly one, who I will refer to as Thrush (because he's an irritating **** - sorry for poor spelling i have dyspleptia) AND the other because I believe (and I kid you not) is a reincarnation of DEATH, yes one of The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. I cannot believe that this TW.@t is back but there you go. He's about as popular as a bout of gonorrhea at the Cromer W.I. Thursday meeting (I should know, I've been there!) Anyway, I digress. Ignore these Prophets of Doom, they are an irrellevance and a tedious distraction to us all. I will add that I have not named them directly but I think it will be fairly obvious to most here who I am refering to.
In the meantime, keep looking forward and to all the good news coming our way if we are patient enough (with all due respect given to the seriously long term holders of COPL) You WILL be rewarded!
Art (who congratulates the other Art on a 'Good Job!' on the flaring presentation)
Good Morning my lovelies,
I hope you all had a great week-end?! As usual some great posts from our resident experts in O&G stocks, a big thank you to them. Also the usual spreaders of fear, uncertainty and doubt - to these people I say this, "Your tactics will not work on anybody who has read all the data on COPL and if they possess half a brain-cell - it IS that obvious to see that COPL are just waiting to explode. They are sitting on a MAJOR strategic reserve in the USA - This isn't just about a small oil company anymore, this is serious on a global level. If you are shorting I suggest you close the position, accept your losses and fark orrff(!) and don't come back!"
I gather the Devilb.. creature is on shift today. I filtered the **** a few weeks back. It never had a good word to say about COPL and whilst I like people to give an alternative argument and express their opinion, which is healthy when examining and evaluating a stock it does have to be BALANCED. So, to add balance and criticism of COPL as a company, my opinion on COPLs PR team and their efforts up to date is that it is poor at best and woeful at the other end. I am happy to be given different thoughts on this particular aspect of COPL!
I have my sights on filtering another 'end-of-a-bell' who has recently appeared. I won't name them right now, they still have a chance to redeem themselves BUT I don't think they will! An update later (I bet you cannot wait?!)
Good Morning!
Art (who's just had a nice cup of FILTERED coffee and who hopes the other Art is suitably refreshed too!)
@illusion Hello my lovely!
Thank you for the fantastic post at 1427. I would pay for info like that! Anyway I agree with you that it will be Continental who will be our JV partner. A bold claim but there you go.
Maybe one of the good people here would like to set up a little online competition/survey of who they think the JV partner will be.
Carrot cake smells gorgeous by the way, as do I. Ha!
Art (who is very exited and is sure the other Art is excited too!)
Hello my lovelies,
All this talk of JVs, farm-ins, Take-Overs, it really is exciting (yes, I know I need to get out more) and it is making my head spin with all the permutations and possibilities. I still cannot believe that it will happen to a company that I am invested in but of course I really hope it does.
So, a JV with:-
Continental
Devon
EOG Resources
Exxon-Mobil
Wow!, Just WOW! (which reminds me of the ex's tattoo on his backside, Ha!) There are so many possibilities now. People here said it could happen and now it appears that it might be happening. I only hope that whatever deal COPL get is that it is a fair one. I have faith and trust in Art (Mr. Millholland) to get COPL and everybody invested in the company the best deal possible. What form this takes, i don't know BUT as the day's weeks and months go by we'll all get to see the picture that emerges from this puzzle.
Still a fantastically cheap price to get in at and so much to look forward to. I know we're not meant to give financial advice to anybody but if you have friends, relatives who are willing to take a chance (there is always an associated risk with stock investing) just tell them about COPL. Encourage them to spend 30 minutes looking at what the prospects are. To me and I'm just a single mum from Norfolk, with no technical knowledge in O&G, even I can see the potential.
Anyway wtfdik!
Art (who knows fark all about getting oil out of the ground but the other Art certainly does!)
Hello my lovely nomadic,
The problem you see is that this BB has been infested with negative R souls (fish?) for month's and months and months. We're fed up listening to the negativity OF ANY KIND! I'm shouting because it really has been horrendous. It is better now but of course when you rock up and show even just a little bit of 'concern' in COPL well, alarm bells start ringing. I thought your first post today was measured and sensible but please do understand that this stock is as derisked as you can get right now.
Have a great day. My carrot cake is looking nice and moist and the little drop of cognac put in will give it a bit of a kick!
Art (who puts alcohol in all her cakes as opposed to the other Art who probably doesn't)
Good Morning my lovelies,
My! Some people are super cautious aren't they? Maybe they'd like the liquid black gold barreled up for them first?
I knew a guy once who would always wear 2 condoms, just in case. It did nothing for the romance I can tell you!
For those cautious Joes' out there, please come back when the the drills are 20 years in and the SP about £20. Better still burger off from this board and invest in Shell. Less risk ain't it?
As for the rest of us, WE already know what we have here with COPL. Just waiting for everyone else to wake up!
Hopefully, the EU etc will persue the oil price cap on Russian oil as that'll push WTI up up and away beyond $110bbl and with a bit of luck old Sleepy Joe (the gift that just keeps on giving) will leave the taps on their strategic oil reserves and they have to buy more to fill up. That'll push it beyond $125bbl. Oh, so many bad decisions but we COPLers can make hay while the sun shines.
Anyway, this cake won't make its self so have a great day folks!
Art (who I can guarantee makes a much better Carrot Cake than the other Art)
I do hope you all get the message, to all the Green Boxes you are all
Copl, it is a riddle
Under attack, just a little
Naturally they spout dribble
Those shorters on the fiddle
Soon to burn and sizzle
Eat your heart out Betjeman
Hello my lovelies,
What a great atmosphere of hope and positivity on yesterdays board! i didn't post as I was busy all day and only started reading the 500 odd posts from 10pm. I watched Arthur's video piece and also read the presentation on the COPL website. Folks... we're on our way! Much to look forward to over the next few months. I am working on a timescale of 36 months or to put it another way, the end of Q3 2025. In that period I fully expect COPL to become a mid tier $Billion+ oil producer. I believe the m/cap and the sp will be multiple times higher than where we are currently. And now for something completely different!
Here is my filtered list, updated accordingly to accomodate a number of bell-ends that have recently turned up.

Bell-Ends, every last one of them. None of them have anything positive to contribute to the board, they exude negativity out of every pore, they ejaculate bull5h1t out of every sweaty orifice they have, they are beneath contempt and to be quite frank are the 'scum of the earth'. If you think that is too strong then I refer you all to the Duke of Wellington, who if he were here, writing on the COPL board, he would use the exact same words for these desperate and despicable creatures. Talking of creatures, where are The Four Horsemen ofthe Ap.? What have you done with them?!
Onwards and Upwards fellow COPLers, hold the line, remain firm and repel all boarders out to damage our investment (see, that's the Nelson coming out of me! Norfolk gal an' all that)
Is it too early for a gin and tonic?
Art (who likes a gin or two as opposed to the other Art who looks more of a whisky man!)
Hello my lovelies and Intothedeep!
My prediction for the August production figures are, and i'm going out on a limb here 63000! This for the moment puts me 'on top' (no jokes please, I can read your thoughts you know). As for RNAs I'll predict one to arrive by no later than 1530 on Friday. something in my water tells me so. Either that or cystitis Ha!
Good posts today which is especially appreciated if like me you only have basic O&G knowledge. Also good to see only the odd green box now and if somebody hadn't mentioned him by name I'd have never have know it was that 'end of a bell' gregorgio.
Night, night
Art (who is too tired to write a difference between the other Art and this Art)
Hello my lovelies,
Some lovely posts already and it's not even 3 o'clock! Thanks especially Tiburn who always fill me with confidence for the future. I'm very realistic to what we have here and it will take time to nurture and grow this small cub into the Lion i expect to see in the next 36 months.
How far away are COPL from 1 - Launch? I'm hoping that we're there abouts before the end of Q2. End of Q4 will be fantastic news to all of us invested. Before Christmas, well what a present that would be!
I managed to get my hands down the back of a sofa and bought a few more today, mainly in order to give my holding a big fat round number (sorry I know it sounds like I have OCD. Ha!)
Just a quickie to all you experts both in oil/gas stocks and the stock market in general BUT are COPL like to just rise gradually OR could there be several large rerates. I suspect that it will be a combination of the two. I ask these questions because I am a virgin. A 'bag' virgin that is! Yes, I've never 'bagged' in a share yet and I'm hoping that I will achieve it with my two oil investments. I live in hope that within 3 - 5 years these stocks may improve my life financially and for my kids too. And of course all the other investors too. I worry very much about the future not just for me and my family but for everybody else too living in this country. I have had some very disturbing dreams of late about life in the future. Why can't I dream of unicorns and fairies OR better still Roman General Maximus Decimus Meridius. Now that would be an xxx rated dream Ha!
Please keep the positivity here, banish the negative and thank you all for putting up with my ramblings.
Art (a Christina Hendricks lookalike as opposed to the other who doesn't look like her, at all!)
Thank you wwal17. All they need is a bit of WD40 and a bit of a shove and you'll get in no problem. as it is they squeak and creak a bit. Just need Russell Crowe (when he was in Gladiator NOT as he is now! He's more like the late Oliver Reed) to assist me.
Is there a General Maximus Decimus Meridius lookalike out there? Don't forget to bring your gladius and make sure it's sharp.
