Hello my lovelies!
First of all, I would like to apologise to anybody I’ve offended recently with my occasional strong phraseology (is that a word?). I am as frustrated as anybody with the current sp and the lack of communications but I get even more frustrated by people putting a negative spin on even good news and damaging sentiment. Please forgive me, I just want people, new potential investors in COPL to see what I see!
Congratulations to ALL the SAS crew involved with setting up the meeting with Mr Millholland. Truthfully, I was sceptical about it and believed it may have been another ruse by certain ‘Prophets’ (of Doom) to once again damage the stock. I was wrong and I am sincerely sorry for my suspicions against the SAS team. Thank you, Matt, for your feedback. It is reassuring to get a ‘realistic’ sitrep regarding the current state of where the company is right now. I have always believed and said that investing in COPL is not a get rich quick scheme and that any real progress would take at least three years (I’m 18 months into that 3 years) AND it may even take a little longer to see the real gains. In an ideal world I would like to see COPL absorbed, Taken Over for a decent value by somebody like, ExxonMobil, Continental, EOG, Devon etc. and when I say a decent value, I am not talking pennies or cents, I’m talking DOLLARS!
The AGM will I am sure reveal more as will the next 6/7 months. Once all the pressure issues are sorted out (well, as much as is possible), GGS work and well completions we’ll know a lot more. A significant increase in production wouldn’t go amiss either even though it won’t happen overnight.
I will end with a reminder that COPL is sitting on a great deal of oil, in a great location with good infrastructure. It offers huge potential for the latest net zero projects of Carbon Capture & Storage/Sequestration and I feel this potential creates an ‘asset within an asset’ which has massive added value to COPLs overall value. This will have already been assessed by the JVP and factored in. Mr Millholland will also be aware of this potential too (as are we!).
I urge all genuine investors who want to see a decent return on their investment to give the company ‘a chance’ (even if in some cases it is one last chance as I know some of you have been with COPL many years).
Art (who just wants some peace on this board, after all, we all want the COPL to succeed and that we can share in that success)
Good morning my lovelies!
Another day closer to the AGM & JV! Voting is now over for COPL and we await the votes cast with baited breath. This is so much better than the Eurovision Song Contest, Ha!
I hope we haven't been silly enough to vote Art off the Board at this crucial juncture but if we have maybe Lord Sugar or Branson is available, Ha! As for the name change bring it on I say, especially if it attracts US interest. A limited consolidation would also in my opinion be reasonable, enough to get us a decent US or Canadian listing.
JV with ExxoMobil! Carbon Capture & Storage will be huge in this new era of Climate Change (the sooner it warms up the better.. It's been blardy freezin' up here on the Norfolk coast, Ha!)
No doubt the GBB (Green Box Brigade) will be out in force today. They are the LSE BB version of Piles - very irritating and a pain in the ar.se Ha!
Do well!
Art (who's up early because a noisy co.ck has been crowing for the last half an hour. Which reminds me I must oil my 12 bore)
Hello my lovely Opti!
It is what it is I suppose but sl@gging a company off constantly.. well, you just wouldn't do it more than once if you were invested. You'd sell up. You certainly wouldn't waste your time on here. anyway, I have to do battle shopping in Cromer.. Tesco here I come!
Art (no not that one, this one!)
hello my lovelies!
is it me or have my previous posts been deleted? if so, boo hoo! do some of you have hurty feelings about my words. i still maintain that my filtered list contains people who are out to damage a company that i am invested in and as such i am within my rights to describe them as 'pond life' but then maybe i'm being too hard on all the creatures that live within a pond. after all at least they have some useful purpose in the eco system. what do the people who constantly criticise copl and the directors bring to the table? absofarkinglutely nothing. now censor that!
art (who is on the verge of contacting the useless ****s at the fca, just for 5hit5 & giggles)
Good afternoon my lovelies!
The 'green box brigade' are relentless I see. currently I have 51 lovely green boxes over two pages. I wonder what tripe they are rattling on about. I sympathise with some who are I believe genuine shareholders who are a bit cheesed off with the trajectory of the share price. I could, if I wanted to do the same BUT what would be the point? Pointless. Like somebody wishing for a decent curry and then ordering a Korma. Absolutely FUTILE I tell you, Ha!
Just getting a bit of sunshine before 3 nights away, working I may add in Cambridge. Maybe I'll go for a punt in the mornings but somehow I feel my bed will be the only place I'll be. I'll keep an eye on this wonderful bb and chat again on Monday afternoon/evening. Maybe there will be some news on monday.. who knows?
Be good all of you.. and if you cannot be good, don't get caught!
Art (who really hopes the other Art is on the ball now that he must know the SAS are on his case, Ha!)
Good afternoon my lovelies!
Only 34 Green Boxes so far so not a bad day! So, rumours abound with a Telegram group suggesting that the JV is 'dead in the water' hmm. Do you think it is dead in the water? I mean, there you are a large oil company looking to increase reserves in a safe onshore low tax jurisdiction and you think in regard to the Fed Deep prospect.. "No way Pedro! Tooo risky!!!" hmm. I know what I think. coming soon to a Calgary function room soon
JV with a MAJOR oil company with CARBON CAPTURE & STORAGE ambitions ..
Company name change to reflect US ASSETS
Share consolidation between 20-1 & 100-1 to enable
Relisting on a US/Canadian stock exchange
..and a huge number of drills planned with HUGE amounts of oil pumped over the next few years.
Art (who is enjoying the Norfolk sunshine before the thought of 3 night shifts in Cambridge, hoping the other Art concentrates on finalising the first stages of a gamechanging JV!).
Good morning my lovelies!
A cloudy morning so far up here on the Norfolk coast but we can't expect too much as we're only half way through May, Ha!
Talking of the Norfolk coast I am very sad to say but I've had no viable alternative but to filter 'cromer'. That's the poster 'cromer' and not the very pleasant town of Cromer a few miles up the coast from where I am. I refuse to be bombarded with negative bullshiite at this time of day, at least not before I've had a nice cup of coffee, filtered like so many from the past on this bb!
The oil is still there and lots of it. I am expecting some fantastic news soon with regard to JVs, relisting and aplan to progress this tiny oil company into a mid tier oil player over the next couple of years. Yes it will take some time but I believe Art Millholland has what it takes to get it there. I know he has his faults BUT I believe he is capable of getting this company to where we want it to be.. but please give him a blooooody chance! at least see what the AGM brings, it's not long to wait is it?
Ok, that'll probably upset a few people but a little positivity right now would do most of us some good.
Art (who's relaxing in a satin dressing gown waiting for a RCMP 'Mountie' to park his horse outside and hoping the other Art tells all the people who accuse him of lying where to go, Ha!).
Good morning my lovelies,
Please remember.. oh yes, the oil is still there
oh.. and most of it belongs to Canadian Overseas Petroleum Limited!
See ya!
Art (who is enjoying the Norfolk sunshine and waiting for the usual 'doom & gloom' merchants to appear)
Hello my lovelies!
My take on this is that the DD has been complex and time consuming. Poor weather conditions has not just held up COPLs production but also the JVPs DD work. I feel now that COPL are very, very close to making an announcement. It might happen before the AGM or it may even be done as an added part to the AGM. It would make great theatre and PR for the company to announce
1. The new company name to reflect the asset.
2. A stock consolidation 100-1.
3. Relisting on a US/Canadian stock market.
"... and now I would like to introduce you to our new Joint Venture partner who are going to transform our Wyoming oilfield into a world class strategic asset!" as the directors of the JVP walk onto the stage Cue music # Also sprach Zarathustra conducted by Dudamel with the Berliner Philharmoniker ensemble. actually, I'm not sure we'll fit the Berliner Philarmoniker all in, Ha! Just my sense of humour regarding the music their but you get the picture I'm sure.
If any current investor seriously thinks they are being decieved, deliberately lied to then b all means present the evidence to the Serious Fraud Squad and we'll get the Mounties to round up Art, Ryan et al and we can all get the popcorn out and view the proceedings (and if the Mountie would like to stop at mine I'd certainly make him feel at home). I have to trust what I am being told, at least to some degree. That doesn't mean I like some of it but you have to take the rough with the smooth. Maybe I'm in denial but as I've never been to Egypt..
It is being said by some that, " Art intends to go it alone" and that all the signs indicate this. Do you really think so? Have you seen the scale of work needed to do this going it alone' Ha! and I thought the comedian was coming later. Arthur Millholland has already openly stated that the huge oil discovery is way beyond the resources of tiny COPL and that they were, THEY WERE approached by a 'large oil company' (who he happens to have worked with before and is also deeply involved with Carbon Capture & Storage (sequestration). Now who the hell could that be? Christ on a bike you don't have to be Sherlock to work it out. BUT it could equally be some other 'lesser' oiler who is involved. We will have to wait and see.
As for Arthurs stained underpants may I be so bold as to suggest an overnight soak with a baking soda solution followed by a nice hot wash. Personally i don't have this problem as when I'm at home I am free of such encumberments Ha!.
Art (who hopes the other Art wears clean boxers/Y-Fronts to the AGM)
Hello my lovelies!
Here we are again with a great deal of negativity particularly towards the proposed 'up to' 1000-1 consolidation, Arthur Millholland and the assets of COPL in general. Some have genuine concerns and others have more nefarious reasons for stirring the Shiite. As I've said before as a criticism of all things COPL the communications/PR leave a lot to be desired and it really wouldn't take a lot to improve it! But I guess right now it is not a priority but of course this has lead to very negative sentiment and a consequential so of 5p.
I see the consolidation as a necessary part of attracting new investors particularly on American markets. They don't consider any stock as a serious company with a sp of 3.5 cents. That said I don't see a 1000-1 consolidation as realistic either. A 20-1 consolidation sees COPL over a $dollar. Would I be happy to accept a consolidation that took the SP to $5 possibly. I would understand this move. The same goes for the name change to make it more let's say 'Yank' friendly. The American are rightly patriotic and will give much more support to what is primarily a US based asset (even if the company HQ is in Calgary). So it is in my opinion all related and connected to huge and hopefully positive changes to the company over the next 18 months. Just my opinion from someone who knows very little about the O&G industry. I would add though that as COPL evolves, production slowly but surely increases, GGS getting done more wells being completed, the momentum will only head in one direction.Get a great JV announced we'll start heading in the right direction. I really hope the JV is with ExxoMobil but any company large enough to get this asset moving will be very good. I still think it is ExxonMobil with the CC&S connection. Only my opinion.
I will be casting my vote almost to the last minute as I believe we will get more information before the deadline closes.
Right I'm off to net my cabbages before those naughty Blackbirds eat more of the new shoots!
Art (who is sweating her *it's off in the garden hoping the other Art is tidying up the AGM loose ends)
Part 3
Maybe I’m dreaming and in Cloud Cuckoo Land. Living in Norfolk and working with (not in) the NHS it certainly feels like it. I have a small amount of money available to top up my current investment and hopefully I can get in before the sp conversion takes place (if it does!). If it all turns out to be just a pipe dream then I’ll just have to keep on working. There’s always Only Fans I suppose. Nurse, Red-Head, great figure (sadly) more the head of Angela Rayner and the body of Christina Hendricks (with probably more stretch marks. That’s what having kids does to you Ha!)
Have a great Bank Holiday and may the sun shine for you all. I’ll be working a night shift ? in Cambridge (maybe I’ll go for a punt/pint after my shift – not Ha!)
Art (who hopes the other Art’s Only Fans site starts with him boll.ock naked and people pay him to put his kit back on, Ha!)
Part 2
If it is all lies and COPL are going bankrupt then it doesn’t matter because we’re all in the Shiite regarding our investment, so let’s hypothetically assume that it is true and look at what a JV with a company like ExxonMobil would offer COPL and COPLs shareholders. Complete guesswork on my part and just my opinion but I think the initial JV would consist of direct involvement to delineate the major Fed Deep asset and assess the results accordingly. I think they’d also fund the ‘new’ company so that it was debt free and in a very secure place financially. I believe that the JV would also enable the shareholders to receive a ‘special dividend’ per share (I mean, if they want me to vote for it then a little sweetener will make me more amenable). How much this dividend could be is anybody’s guess – 10p per share, 20p, 50p or more - take yer pick. Or there could be other types of benefit such as Bonus Shares (personally I’d prefer the Special Dividend).
With the new company well funded (no pun intended) it could then focus on the BF Shannon and CC sorting out all the GGS and related pressure issues to significantly increase production. All the while ExxonMobil can concentrate on the Fed Deep asset. They can also study the remaining undeveloped COPL land which is probably just as rich in sweet light crude and think about developing it as a wonderful repository for their Carbon Capture and Storage project.
What WTI would ExxonMobil want for all this – I don’t know 25% - 50%, you tell me! They would certainly want an option to buy out the whole of the Fed Deep asset maybe even the Wyoming asset as a whole (and I’d chuck in Nigeria as a gesture of goodwill. How much for the whole lot? Let’s not forget about the CCS element which is in my opinion going to be a huge business even without the oil being there. What’s a fair offer? Has to be worth $2B surely. Maybe up to $5B. With the way things currently are in the world I’d say we’re sitting on a (Black) Gold/CCS mine. How much spare cash have ExxonMobil got right now? In previous ExxonMobil M&As they’ve doled out multiple Billions of $$$, so why not for our company too? If what I’ve said in these two posts is factually incorrect, you’ll have to forgive me. I don’t have the full detailed knowledge that posters such as Tiburn and others have. They’ve been here much longer than I and have a much better grasp of the technicalities of the O & G sector than I do.
As far as I’m concerned, the next 18 months is going to be pivotal for COPL and it’s shareholders. I also hope it proves to be a very profitable one too. We’ve all been through the mill with this stock. If you’ve managed to make money out of trading it then fair play to you BUT I think your multiple day trading of COPL is coming to an end. One last Hurrah for you possibly.
Maybe I’m dreaming and in Cloud Cuckoo Land. Living in Norfolk and working with (not in) the NHS it certainly feels like it. I have a small amount of money available to
Part 1
Hello my lovelies!
It’s been a little while since my self imposed purdah, Ha! I previously that said I’d only come back on announcement of the completed JV but the SEDAR announcement is important and worthy of comment which many of you have already done and anyway as many of you have probably experienced at first hand it is a woman’s prerogative to change her mind (which is why you love us all so much)
Reading the board I see that there are 3 camps. First we have the ‘woe is me’ and to paraphrase Private Frazer ”We’re Doomed I tell you, WE’RE DOOMED!” camp (and No, I am not that old, I saw Dad’s Army repeats in the 80s and found it funny. Some of the posters probably even do the rolling eyes an’ all while they’re writing, Ha!). Secondly, there is the ‘This is great news – show me the way to the Lambo show room’ camp. Took me a short while to work out a Lambo was reference to a car. What’s wrong with a Ford Focus I ask you? And finally, there are the ‘I’m not sure what to think camp – what if it’s a cunning trap? What if.. what if?’ Well, I say, “What IF your aunt had balls, she’d be your uncle”. Not quite sure if I’m allowed to say that sort of thing anymore but there we are I’ve said it.
I fully understand the reasons behind all three points of view but personally I’m positive about this news. The news of a change to the company name is interesting… Sage Oil.. a subsidiary of ExxonMobil. Or how about Wyoming Energy & Carbon Capture Inc. .. a subsidiary of ExxonMobil. Just examples of course and you can come up with your own suggestions for a bit of fun. We all need a bit of fun now and then!
Then there is the ‘up to’ 1000 – 1 share conversion. Again, this is very interesting 9I need to get out more, Ha!). If it weren’t for the JV then I’d be a little concerned BUT as we do have a JV either concluded or very near to conclusion then I see these two factors i.e. the name change and share conversion as directly linked to the JV and what I believe will be to an eventual TO. Now I know there are some here who repeatedly parrot, “What JV? Where’s your proof?” like some demented African Grey! Well, I don’t have any proof other than the information declared by the CEO and various COPL company announcements and RNAs. Yes, I know it could all be a load of old pony BUT it could also be that on this occasion it is the truth and the reality. We’ll see. I believe that the Joint Venture WILL happen and eventually the complete buyout of COPLs major Wyoming assets will occur. Maybe Art will be left with a little bit to call his own and keep a nice little income coming in. Not that he’ll need it if the JV/TO partner is who I think it is.
Hello my lovelies,
Thank you to ALL the genuine and knowledgeable posters here. A few posters are outstanding in the quality of their posts. As for myself I'm just an ordinary private investor hoping to make a few pounds for myself and children to make our lives a little better. I can tell you that i invested in COPL after looking at all or most of the available evidence and made that decision on what I perceived was a good chance of success. I expect this to eventually be reflected in the sp.
I have followed this board for many months and written a few posts myself. I can only post genuine 'sentiment' from my own personal perspective. I'd be lying if I said there were times when I wasn't disappointed with the outcome of some days and of course the fact that the share price is currently and more importantly the market capitalisation value that COPL now has. I am, however, confident that once a JV is announced and the terms laid out that the company will suspend the stock and create an orderly market with the announcement of a significant rerate on resumption of trading. This rerate needs to be significant. The asset COPL has both in Oil and CCS with a life of 40 years justifies this.
I have been worn down by this board over the last few weeks. I work long hours doing a hard, difficult job and i very often come home and literally cry with emotion at the events of the day. I do not need further grief from certain posters who are quite obviously in cahoots with someone or some entity verbally damaging the trust and sentiment in COPL as an investment. Therefore, I am leaving this board until such time as the JV is anounced and the expected rerate occurs OR the company gets Taken Over and at a fair value price. Until then it was nice knowing you all and I wish ALL genuine investors here the very best of luck!
Good bye (at least until the JV/TO)
Art (who hopes the other Art is aware of how much is at stake for some of us here)
Continued from my last post!
Finally I would encourage everybody to filter the posters who constantly post negativity about COPL. They are not balanced and have an agenda that is detrimental to sentiment and morale in the company. I haven’t got a problem with posters who are fed up. I’m fed up too but I don’t constantly go on about it. Here’s some criticism of COPL for you! The PR is woeful and Art needs a makeover. Where’s Gok Wan when you need him/her/whatever!
It's coming and coming soon!
Art (who will soon be having a morning soaking in Epsom bath salts, listening to Baz White and aided by a bottle of Red. Why? Because I’m worth it – “Nurse Art has taken to the bottle!” I hear you all cry. Fear not! I have a day off and those night shifts were gruelers. All I’m missing is a man, Ha! Some hope around here. I hope the other Art isn’t
Good Morning my lovelies!
I haven’t posted for a while as I have been very busy with work. I have, however, been following the board over the last couple of weeks and boy is panic starting to set in with a few people! Fortunately, I cannot read many of them as I have them filtered but I get the gist from the replies that I can see.
6.25 blo.ody p! Good God. This must surely be the bargain of the century right now. I mean, they’re just giving the stock away at that price… but what do I know? I think I know what Mr Millholland knows, I think I know what Ryder Scott knows. I even think I know what Exxon-Mobil knows!
Up to 40 years production pumping out light, sweet crude
40 years Carbon Capture & Storage keeping young Greta and her legions of fans happy!
What’s not to like? Did I mention oil at $80+ bbl
Safe, low tax jurisdiction in warm and sunny Wyoming (ok it gets a bit nippy in the Winter, a bit like me, Ha!)
Sleepy Joe depleting the US SPR. COPL can help fill that up!
A massive GOLD strike on COPLs lands! OK, I made that bit up BUT you never know!
I believe that March 2023 is going to be a pivotal month for COPL and all who are invested. The puzzle pieces are slowly fitting together and a picture forming. AND what a wonderful picture it is going to be! My guess is that the JV will be with Exxon-Mobil who will make COPL a good and fair offer – either for some of the assets or as a total buy out/takeover of the company. Either way the company market capitalisation will be many times its current m/cap of £18M. EIGHTEEN MILLION POUNDS for Christ’s sake! It would be a bargain at 65p never mind 6.5p!
My investment in COPL is now a binary position for me. There is no middle ground. It will either collapse and I’ll be left with nothing OR it will succeed and enable me to retire and live a very comfortable life. That’s how I see it now. All the evidence points to COPL succeeding in its JV plans or, if the offer is good and fair, a complete Take Over I hope by Exxon-Mobil. Other ‘large’ O&G Co are available.
What is likely to happen? Will COPL announce a suspension of trading first then the JV/TO or vice versa? There would need to be an orderly market as it could be pandemonium for the sp otherwise. I would guess that a significant re-rate would take place on resumption of trading. Who knows? I’m afraid I don’t know but it is exciting and the waiting only serves to heighten the tension. Reminds me of a blind date I once went on with so I was told ‘a young, fit hunky’ Registrar who was new to the hospital. Turned out he was a fat, bald, middle aged quantity surveyor from North Walsham. Not what I was expecting at all, Ha! Let’s just say there wasn’t a second date (especially after I discovered his flatulence issue – a girl shouldn’t have to put up with that, not on the first date). Hopefully our COPL blind JV date will be all we expect and more, a lot more (with little or no wind issues, Ha!).
Hello my lovelies!
Like so many on this board I find myself asking myself, "How can I be reasonably confident that COPL is on the verge of entering into a JV?" In order to answer this I go over a few facts to help me come to an answer. I also employ a modicum of 'what is the MOST LIKELY outcome (along with a few 'what is the worst that can happen' type scenarios).
1. COPL, we are told have a very large discovery of oil deposits in Wyoming, USA. FACT
2. This is verified by the 'independent' Ryder Scott O&G engineering and geological consultants, recognised worldwide for quality, reliability and integrity. FACT
3. Mr Millholland has numerous times stated vebally and in writing that a 'large' Oil Co. approached COPL (not the other way around!) in regulatory announcements both here in the UK and in Canada. FACT
4. The US Strategic Petroleum Reserve has been depleted by 'President' Biden. FACT
5. Diesel is in relatively short supply in the US. FACT
6. There is and in my opinion will be a coming energy crisis in the US. NOT a FACT yet but it is coming!
7. The JV (potential)Partner, currently unknown but all evidence leads me to believe it is ExxonMobil can see what COPL is sitting on and they definitely and probably desperately want a piece of it. Not a FACT but a most likely scenario in my opinion.
8. These negotiations take time to deliver. This is a major decision for both negotiating parties (so a little patience is required). FACT
9. COPL has the OIL and the JV has the RESOURCES and EXPERIENCE to devolop the COPL Wyoming oil fields to it's full potential. The potential JV and without a doubt if it is the likes of ExxonMobil HAS THE CASH! FACT
everything leads me to one conclusion and one conclusion only and that is that in a relatively short time COPL will enter into a JV with a 'large' Oil (& CARBON CAPTURE & STORAGE) Company. Now who on earth could that be??? It's a real tough one that..
Never mind 'needing funding by March', COPL is way beyond having to worry about that at this stage. COPL know it and so does the JV Partner in current negotiations. this is way past a piddling $16m or whatever is needed. Maybe I am too trusting but I believe that whilst Mr Millholland may not be the best communicator in the world he is I believe a bloody good deal maker. Also look at Oilexco and where he took the stock price. It was not his fault that the economy and oil price took a dive making the product unviable. Mr Millholland will, I believe do the very best for COPL and its shareholders. If you don't trust him simple SELL UP and 5od off!
Before I 5od off, Ha! just a call out to blackstout for his/her lovely post yesterday which deservedly got many plaudits. When people like Tiburn and a few others are congratulating you, then you know that you've done well. blackstout give me more please! This period is the calm before the storm. A storm that will transform COPL completely!
Art (who is not the other Art!)
