It is definitely only these (imaginary??) replies to shareholders emails that is keeping the share price up at the moment and little else.

I suppose that there is always the hope that Mr Millholland might decide that he has had enough and resign. At the moment that is about as likely as the RBL or the JV coming good but you never know.

If holders didn't bother selling when the rig fell through or during the last month of inactivity then it is unlikely that they will sell now on the news that the old CEO has resigned (or been sacked). The share price has held up pretty well so far this year. I certainly expected to get back in after selling out on the rig news at a much cheaper share price but that has clearly not happened.

Note the way this announcement is worded:

It doesn't say that D Minchin has resigned and another CEO appointed. It says a new CEO as been appointed, oh and that Mr Minchin has resigned with immediate effect. Don't people usually resign with a notice period?

It sounds like he was fired by the only person in a position to do so - Ian Stalker.

As for David Lenigas I don't actually mind him and at least he is a friendly, talkative fellow who will always put his money into a share but the one thing that has always annoyed me about him was his decision to step down and appoint Sanderson in his place. That was a really poor decision.

I will repeat this as his attitude is appalling.

Many a company has recovered after bad CEO's have resigned (or been given the push). Maybe the shareholders here should start a petition or whatever to get rid of S Sanderson as his tenure here has been disastrous.

2 CEO's have resigned today - P Wall from Argo Blockchain and D Minchin from HE1 - both of who were slated on their respective bulletin boards. Unfortunately the biggest and worst and most useless CEO - Sanderson - is still here in his job, doing nothing, saying next to nothing and making his ridiculous directors' buys every month while the share price continues to be decimated.

We can only pray that he may decide to follow in their footsteps and resign.

I think that posters here are building the AGM up to be something that it isn't. No one bothers to attend anyway and not much is done these days. The only thing is that these days shareholders expect an update, though as today's RNS shows that can come anytime. And so can signing a rig contract.

I think it is ominous that the shareholders found out about the re-availability of the Predator rig before it was announced by the company and maybe that is why DM has had to go. Ian Stalker, who has a fairly substantial holding here, did care about the share price. As he was in a position to give him a nudge out of the door that looks to be what has happened.

D Minchin had a total of 300,000 shares in the company he was leading. At least shareholders won't have to worry about him offloading all of his holding in one go as he leaves.

Of course this is good news. D Minchin has done nothing for 18 months. A lot of posters on this board have been calling for him to go for a while now but that doesn't usually happen. We have got lucky here. Now it would be good to hear that a rig contract has been signed for the rig that is suddenly now available - the Predator rig.

As far as I can see, apart from the problem with getting the Predator rig out of Kenya, HE1 were quite happy with it and preparing to use it. Now they can, subject to signing a contract.

Well let's hope that Minchin and HE1 haven't paid out for a full rig audit only for another company to be more on the ball and get a contract signed first. That sounds about par for the course if you look at the shenanigans that have gone on here over the last 12/18 months. Getting a rig has turned into a complete fiasco.

If the management here were any good and assuming they are still in their jobs - and despite all of the posts wanting to sack Minchin I believe that he is still in his post (or at least still drawing his salary) - they should have been on to this 'transformational' news when the rig was released from the financial constraint, which was the 27th January. Or do letters take 2 weeks to reach their destination in Kenya? What are they playing at?

Completion of Rig Audit
Helium One Global (AIM: HE1), the primary helium explorer, is pleased to announce the successful completion of a third-party engineering audit on the operational capability of the Company's preferred drilling rig ("the Rig") for Phase II drilling programme at the Rukwa (100%) project area in Tanzania.

Summary
· Rig audit has been completed and Rig has been signed off as "fit for purpose" by Aberdeen Drilling Consultants ("ADC"), an internationally recognised expert in rig audit and evaluation
· Audit included a detailed examination of the entire drilling rig and associated systems culminating in a successful high-pressure endurance test requiring eight hours of operation at >2,000 Psi
· Epiroc Predator 220 drilling rig with 950HP powertrain and 100T mast rating capable of drilling 8.5" hole to 2500m - more than sufficient to test targets at Tai with stacked closures identified to a maximum depth of 1300m
· Tier one energy technology company Baker Hughes to provide integrated services including drilling fluid, cementing, wireline evaluation and downhole gas sampling services
· Helium One to commence export procedures from Kenya to Tanzania including soliciting release letters from all related parties

Helium One management team are in contact with all relevant parties and intends to be in Kenya to expedite this process. Thereafter the spud date will be dependent on the mobilisation of Baker Hughes equipment, currently anticipated to be released in December, enabling drilling operations to commence during January/ February 2023.

This board appears to be inhabited by weirdos who spend their days floating around at 50,000 ft without a worry or care in the world. Very strange and almost alarming.

I sold out here on Jan 3rd when the no rig RNS popped out of nowhere - yes, I could afford to sell my holding as I had only re-bought after the 5p placing. Since then not a word from the management. I was though surprised to see the share price stay around the mid-5p's as I had envisaged it dropping back to 4p or less.

Anyway, to get to the point, HE1 were quite happy with and proceeding with the Predator rig, at least until they started to move it out of Kenya at which point a financial issue turned up which scuppered that plan. With the Exalo rig unavailable and no other better rigs appearing then surely this will still be the best option.

I have bought some today and I would load up but to be honest the management and Minchin, in particular, are so slow and stupid that there is a fair chance they might miss this opportunity altogether. After all surely Minchin and co would have known that this rig was re-available for export to Tanzania sometime before an over-studious PI poster found such information, which by then was almost 2 weeks old. Can I trust them to do a decent job? barely.

No RNS about this from HE1. I am very cross to hear the excellent news about the Predator rig from a poster on here (well done gogsthelogs) rather than from the HE1 management. After all the shenanigans over the last year or so, and particularly over Xmas, this is quite disgraceful. Has Minchin gone to sleep on the job?

Can I question the dates - if the letter was dated 27th January why didn't the news get out until 7th February - nearly 2 weeks later? Was there a postal strike in Kenya as in the UK?

Late last year the Predator rig, having passed the full rig audit, was heading straight to Tanzania, at least until it was stopped from leaving the country over a finance issue. HE1 then turned to the Exalo rig, initially purely because it was available, and then added that it was their preferred rig, etc, etc. However, having completed the audit, assuming at HE1's expense, it seems an obvious decision to continue with the original plan to use this rig (even more so as nothing else has been mentioned as being both suitable and available) and to grab it back quickly.

Maybe it would be a good idea for anyone here who has had previous email communication with Minchin to quickly inform him of the news so he can get a contract signed, as otherwise another company might jump on the opportunity to secure a fully audited rig known to be in good working order and then HE1 might have to wait another year for this rig as well.

Exactly what is the management playing at? If they now secure this rig quickly they can even get the drill started in Q1 2023 as originally planned - or not if they miss this opportunity.

Short and sweet, to the point, nothing else worth a mention, business as usual - drop? what drop?

Oh, so the sell by MBU was 22,222,222 at 17.10p and these were all bought at 18p. Is that correct?
