City I have over 20 experience as an RR aero engineer and I can tell from experience that we have been selling engines at a loss and making all our profits on care packages and as I’ve stated Tufan and his team. Are looking at these deals totally different to our late Mr East .Oh by the way I have a Masters degree in Business Management !

City you don’t get it Tufan and his team are looking to get more from engines sales so that means earning more from Airbus and there massive margins ,I can assure you Tufan won’t be giving away massive discounts anymore

Ron you are right mate Tim Clark from Emirates is playing hardball relating to new cost of engines and the price of care packages.Tufan is a hard good businessman and I’m sure there is a bit of ego going on here ,Emirates will have to hope that GE are on top of it ,im confident he will be back in the future for RR engines ,we do also have a very healthy order book so Tufan doesn’t need to give them A massive discount anyway !
