The point I was making is more about the SFO in that they have very little knowledge of business dealing and if a gesture was given to another party bribe as you call it as long as this is declared there has been no wrong doing as you say this will happen a lot in certain countries it's all about transparency and informing people ,this body of people just seem to poke there noses into businesses where there could well be nothing going on .

The sooner the SFO is disbanded the better they make so many mistakes. It is a joke of a body a bunch of nearly retired policeman with No understanding of business not that RR has done anything wrong but then when all is finished there will be no apology .Im afraid it is a case of justifying there department Pathetic

Have you ever tried Ftse 100 companies with dividends or do you just like your penny shares ?

That's my point about civil v defence all contracts are good for job security but defence in general just does not create massive profits keeps people in work but that's what a lot of governments deals for a lot of businesses are about

Civil deals are always worth more than defence because of the care package options ,government deals are not always that profitable

Not to put a dampener on your post but this won't have a massive reaction on share price as there is not big margins in defence work needs to be civil to show better returns

From an insiders point of view The new software system will be a good innovative way of operating as it will show positive ways regarding work ethic and save money

Putting it into prospective after having all of the profit warnings low oil price RR was always going to be seen as too cheap but now that is behind us and we move forward with good intentions and some good luck this stock will get back to its higher levels in the future,can't keep a Good company and Class products down

The reason I know is because my wife has had to make decisions simply because of years of senior management not wanting to make a decision too indecisive and lack of knowledge on there part.She knows her engines and the quality of what they are like all dedicated RR staff but some senior management I'm afraid are clueless coming from a car manufacture background does not make them aerospace experts .The streamlining of certain senior management is good for all employees and the business moving forward

Modsa Your point is valid if this was some of the skilled engineers who have a lot of knowledge still to offer but we are talking about senior management who for years have not put a lot of good work ethic into the business ,some of them are good people but there is a lot who offer no input to the business just a fancy job title and RR are better off without them

Gerry that surplus manpower you call it is a lot of senior management who have done nothing for the business for years I know first hand and it is the right decision of CEO to get rid let them find out what the real world of work is about

Safran have been trying for years to engage with RR but they never get there so I wouldn't put to much thought into there comments on being in business together

As you would agree any personal investment is an individual's own choice as for RR this business is in the process of some minor changes of which I agree with and as long as you see this stock as longer term investment I would say that this is exactly the stock to be in ,great products with big order book and a good CEO with positive ideas for the future. It always depends on what your financial position is ,so if you have funds to spare and a few years to wait then this is a good stock to be in.Good Luck enjoy the ride

No chance of a shaving accident Gerry ha ha , I'm afriad when you have had nearly 3 decades of investment in a company and done very well financially it sticks in your throat a bit when you read certain people just repeating the same old story's what most of us have read already as I said it's like being taught by a primary school teacher but where Adults ,anyway as for any positive news I'm sure you would agree it would be unprofessional towards my wife if I repeated certain things on here but all I will say is that there will be some positive news out in the near future and that given the ideas by the new CEO RR will start to pick up over the next few years .I do also have a few other investments that do well but my motto is to stick clearly to FTSE 100 companies ,I don't mess around with penny shares simply because unless the miracle happens with an idea or an oil find your money is doing nothing and is only benefiting others .Good Luck peacemaker
