I would not worry about China trying to get into the aerospace industry , they may well develope some kind of engine design but Class and Quality come with experience and expertise something that are lacking at present and will take years to learn if at all they ever get there.I don't think RR has anything to worry about

Next interim divi is 50% less about 4.3p but hey as long as share price recovers in next 2 years that will push divi back up good luck

Yes you have done well I said when the price was oversold at its lows that given a few years it would get back to where it should be ,like you I continued to buy on the lows having full confidence in the CEO that this good company will recover ,great products and good future . Good luck

The company under Warren East are now making progress and should now look to grow more and succeed in new innovative aero engines for the future

Correct Philpott1001 that's exactly what they do as the company has done this for years that way it allows them to stay competitive when the US dollar gets stronger like now

RR have been hedging currency for years so as soon as Brexit happened that was always going to happen but once the currency becomes more stable I'm certain there will be an upside to this

I'm not getting involved with a debate about ignorance just stick to the facts of the RR ok but your wealth company does invest in hedge funds believe it or nor just move on
