Don't knock Glencore I made a good few quid when I sold my holding in the late 2.80s and was pleased with my return ,you can't judge all companies the same there is a price and value for most it's knowing when you are happy to invest and to sell at a profit if you wish to or stay the distance ,Good Luck and I'm sure your £10 prediction will happen in the future

You are obviously very new to investing and naive to think that brokers will determine the SP , this is about the business and how it moves forward for the future quality products. good management structure will help RR succeed so if you feel reliant on brokers comments your in for a rough ride .DYOR and good luck

Anyway Gerry back to more practical points it's sounds like you enjoy cycling 🚵 as for myself will be doing a 3 hour tour of Toronto on a bike September that is about my lot don't think I will make Tour De France 🇫🇷 And I'm sure you are right about RR hitting new highs in the near future good luck

Gerry I still am long term but every year I take my full allowance of capital gains just got back from Sorrento so done holiday got a bike and my Wife has loads of shoes we could share ha ha but it is a case of just looking for a quick short term gain as banks give you nothing . Don't worry though I have a few holidays lined up Spain July , Toronto Niagara and New York trip in September so I am busy enjoying life . Good Luck

Well the markets have been flat for nearly a week and recent brokers comments does not seem to have had a positive long term effect ,that's why I take them all with a pinch of salt although I did take my full capital gains allowance at £8.85 but unless invested no good in the bank ,what does 11 Grand get you for a year not much .

Well Well Well that sums up my opinion on Brokers views as stated previously it appears Deutsche Bank have a holding within the company albeit a lower one now , all that garbage about sell sell sell good riddance I hope they dispose of the rest of there portfolio only interested in there clients

Come on mate you can't have it always surely it is better to see your investments rise prices are not cheap for ever im sure you have some at a cheaper price I have bought from 87p up to 10 pounds but as you know I'm long term .Go and get some more you may well say in 2-3 years that was good value .good luck

You can't just say certain brokers have made an impact on SP ,what about the brokers who said sell ,this is a case of people looking at a bigger picture of the business for the future and buying into it so get some before your too late

There can be a few factors for this so I'm sure there is a certain person namely man of knowledge who will advise you ,good luck and read carefully there with a balanced view .

I agree with you and remember our broker friend Deutsche who said Sell in Dec and Nov both Wrong so I'm afraid yesterday's upgrading is taken with a jar of salts ,you can't just pick a brokers views when the share price rises and say they did it ,have a more balanced view like the above point made
