Trello I hope your right about interest rates not being below 2.5% simply because it was always a bad idea to have had them at such low levels in the first place .Andrew Bailey the Governor of Bank of England got this completely Wrong and people should remember this was the guy who failed at the FCA during the banking crisis in. 2008 when he allowed certain banks to borrow too much money to people and he didn’t. Bring in the correct regulations ,too get promoted to his present role. On a 600 grand salary is a joke ,the guy is a Failure rant over
Nee grange let’s see where this goes because there is No news from the BOD But SP rises very odd , gambling here as usual on Nothing
Looks like Ladbroke isn’t busy today as they have all come for a bet on Minoan ,I think they would of been better staying there 😀😀
Yes it does and I’ve bought and sold since then and made an awful lot of money , when the horrible 9/11 terror attacks happened I bought a massive amount of shares and held for a few years selling them on the way to the highs of £12 plus , My portfolio is still healthy with a good average but I don’t have the volume I had in the early 2000s , but still have a good few RRs left
peakdread. ***** nobody is making it personal but you 2 and as i said without giving numbers i hold a lot of shares that have a cash value now and i’ve been invested since 1987 so i won’t take any lectures of f you two ,if you want to trade as a day trader good to you but don’t try and tell any experienced investors that you need warnings as i’m sure like me they will take no notice of your so called advice i suggest you keep to your own actions and simply wait for your sipp to come to fruition oh by the way if you think that is condescending then you need broader shoulders so let’s move on !
Peakdread you didn’t offend me but some of us me included hold a lot of shares and they are not in a Sipp so it is actual Cash now , I like others are looking a little further ahead so I’m not interested in buying and selling to make a quick short gain good luck
Sheltie I agree that nervous short term investors may well be thinking of any profit and don’t want to miss out so I’m glad I am a long term investor with experience who has seen this all before after all everyone is different good luck
Everyone all this talk about Dividends well I don’t want to put a dampener on it but paying Debt down first is what the Markets like to see ,if a dividend does come that’s great but I think it is important to get debt down
