Peakdread the point I was making that you are well aware was that anyone who has shares in an isa/Sipp of course doesn’t have capital gains implications but as you know those shares are not available to sell now where as some of us present day investors who hold shares at a cash value Now. Do have CGT implications but I’m sure you knew that
Retirment why try and second guess ,the Results will be positive and it will be interesting to see what the SP will be at the end of the day on 22 February ,I think trying to guess a percentage is just luck my friend. ,let us see where we are after Tufan statement
I suggest a few on here wait for Thursdays announcement and then results day before trying to second guess the SP on a daily basis , I’m sure it will be a lot clearer then wether your thinking of selling or waiting a bit longer !
Otto exactly No news and SP rises ,I think gambling is correct let’s see where it is in a month
No I understand Peakdread the point I’m making is that investors like me are holding a big portfolio of shares now that have a Cash value today not like a a Sipp for the future, apart from taking my yearly capital gains allowance I’m sitting on my holding although the fact capital gains is down to £3000 next year is a kick in the proverbials but I hope you can add more and Increase your Sipp holding good luck
