I keep looking here to come aboard and yes perhaps I am being greedy but the s/p keeps dropping, did this with Goldplat and got it wrong, think that I will wait for trend reversal this time

It was a little bit sad to see the s/p fall to 1.27 this week after touhing 140 last week but its gonna take time pleanty of patience and time its gonna take a whole lot of that

Yesterday was the first day in a couple of weeks that the S/P held its own,i'm not saying that it won't drop any further but nonetheless encouraging,anyone who is prepaired to hold midterm could be well rewarded,the stock is trading below its asset value and along with many other beaten shares in this sector present a golden buying opertunity for anyone who has the cash to spare...but then what do I know.my real is ocupation is coffin making. ,

I don't know about ABG but some miners actually give a discount on the spot price, the arrangement is that if you agree a price on the day a contract is taken out and the ore is reserved for you bearing in mind there are only a few ounces of 99% gold to the ton of ore,the gold is then extracted along with any other minerals that the miner then keeps for himself,the downside to the deal is that you usually have to wait 6 months for your gold to be refined and you have to buy a minimum of 20 ounces of gold, there is a company in Texas called Own Gold who mine in Nevada among other places that offer this scheme but I believe that you have to go through a broker to buy in affordable quantities

Hi Trenners,You are spot on with what you say about sentiment,and its all about playing the waiting game,my initial thought was to get out of this unscathed but now I am prepaired to stay with it and see how it all pans out

I am not a expert here and this is purely my view.ABG is now in limboland it is at this moment directionless,there are those who predict impending doom £1.00 per share,and those who think of the potential upside like doubling in price from where it trades today.I think that most of the bad news had been factored in last Friday and looks now oversold For that reason I have decided to hold.I considered buying more this morning and now regret not doing so

I agree with what you say about this being oversold and as Alexios says what if the bottom trendline fails...Thats the gamble you take I suppose.Time will tell,I could have made a exit yesterday afternoon with only a small loss but what the heck,its only money,I am prepaired to hold for now and wait for all of the short traders to get flushed out.ATB

Again the 150 has been tested and again resisted,its tough at the moment with the negetivity around this share not to mention all of the short positions taken. If this can remain above 150 for a while then there is every chance that it has seen the bottom. What is needed now is some good news to help it along
