Hi Peter....we have all done it... Bought in and taken a hit..I dont really agree with averaging down... Not saying ive never done it, but every trade I take on its own merit...I bought abg way to high at 1.52 watched it go down to £1 and bought some more.. It then went up to £1.80...I sold The ones bought at £1.52 and still hold the ones bought for £1. Just my way of doing it.. I might hold the others for the longer term...much patience is needed for this game as you proberbly know...there are two rules that the late Jesse Livermore gave..1..never average losses. 2 never buy a stock just because it has had a big decline from a previous high. ..but most of all dyor..gl

I bought into smdr&rkh within aweek of oneanother..by sheer coinsidence they both stood at £1.26 at the time of purchase..rkh has taken the lead. ....be interesting to see how they fare in the coming weeks.gla

Good to see the goldies picking up after a abiz bad yr

It was only last May that these shares had dropped to around the 1.70, and many where saying what a steal they where and how they could not drop any lower, only to travel below the £1 before climbing back to the level that they stand at today,a fair investment for those who had the forsight to purchase them below £1, not so good for many others who bought in at the higer levels,

To think that only last November this stock was trading above £4 and now its 95p,over75% of its value gone.........just like many others in the sector ,is now the time to be brave? my problem is that I was badly burnt during the good old tech boom days,seeing all of these shares cheaper than ever,and after buying them watch them go down the tube, perhaps i,m being shy..................................gla
