Well explained....also you can trade comodoties..indices and the forex if you wish. .as you say long or short and have easy control over stop losses etc..its not for everyone because of the high leverage but once you fully understand that then it becomes quite easy to work. . I have been spreadbetting for over 12 years now and I lost a lot of dosh before it became profitable. . these days I make a modest profit...but I cant see the benifit of having three different accounts personally I like to keep it all on the same platform. ......ATB

Many thanks for your informative posts and have a good time trying to avoid the froth & hype..hopefully this is the new shoots of recovery coming through..? only time can tell us that. .but we live in hope (and die in despair)..ATB

You would be better off spreadbetting than trading with huge sums of dosh..plus the tax benefits..thats what I do and I find it extreemly usefull..

I have been working flat out today so I have just had a chance to look in.....& tested well...not badcat all..thought it was going to be the traveling willburys..end of the line..or the old monkeys hit last train to clarksville..atb

the resistance level of 1.25 is now obsolete ... now 1.20 is a tough call..this could go on for ages yet..I suppose you have to ask yourself if your hard earned dosh would be better elsewhere ?

There is no denying that this has been rangebound for some time now and I fully understand your frustration, I have been in a similar situation with fgp. but it will break out one day and hopefully on the upside. I suppose you have to ask yourself why you invested in the first place and if those fundamentals are still in place if they are then I suppose the other question to ask yourself is can you put your hard earned to better use. . If you can then fine, but from my own experience I have found patience to be a great virtue on the stock markets..impatience has cost me dearly in the past but ultimatly you have to do whatever feels right for you.. ATB
