If only we knew the timescale of its recovery..for shure it will turn around one day, will that be this year ,next year? I suppose all we can do if we are believers is position ourselves and wait, and if all goes to plan,great...there can be few of us that are in profit with gdp.. infact only those that traded the few spikes could boast this claim....My average is just over 7p and is now my largest holding...I have other gold and mining shares, the only ones in profit are abg & mwa.The profit I have made from abg almost covers my losses on the others so for me..not all bad,and you have to plant the seeds before you do anything else...i have bought and sold shares now for almost 30 years, i have gone through the boom & bust of the tech shares & many difficult times,There have indeed been times when I could have quite easily thrown in the towel, but you have to be in it to win it.The one thing that I have learned is that impatience can step in and prevent you from making huge gains if you are not carefull..ATB

The pog is now $1261 and rising at the moment..

Gold actually fell below $1.200 per ounce recently and now it is only 55 cents higher. If we are to believe that it will rise to $3,400 per ounce by 2016 then rather than invest in aim companys that come with a high level of risk then why not just go out and buy physical gold..if it does not come right by 2016 then you at least get to keep it for another day, the same can not be said for a investment in equitys espesially aim listed ones..but each to their own,whatever floats your boat..ultimatly it is about risk/reward I suppose...
