At that price BOOM would be worth £12 a share, DYOR, and whenever the super rich are carving and hoovering up small podcast companies like BOOM, $200m is like a weeks profit for them. It is becoming a land grab in the growing podcast market and BOOM is well placed to be swallowed up.

“Buy on rumour sell on news” is the mantra, seems like this afternoon some folk couldn’t wait for the news and sold out just in case the RNS doesn’t provide the boost news usually provides. Could be the right decision as the expected news may well have already been factored in with the very welcome recent rises. Anyway, if business continues to improve 280p will be history and if a big player wants to buy a proven catalogue of original and contracted popular podcasts, well, if if if.... 1200p... would not be unreasonable.

I am in the process of transferring both my isa and trading account from iii to x-o which will save me £120 a year as I trade very infrequently, I used to love iii chatrooms and trading floor but they have become very expensive and since they “updated” their platform I only ever log on to see my trading portfolio value. I would be very surprised if they do not hemorage users quickly and go bust. The whole thing when they changed their platform last year and all the users were saying “NO”but they did it anyway tells me they are finished sooner or later. It does baffle me though why it takes 6 weeks to transfer my holdings to a different provider....

That’s a nice jump up this afternoon, wonder if there is a good reason we have yet to know or just an eager buyer..?

If SAG were the big buyers today then by my reckoning they now hold over 25%, won’t be long before they hold over 30% and we know what has to happen then.....

And yet no chat here..? Hopefully people agreed not to sell at 26p as I suggested, big rise late today mind...

Why would anyone sell now at 26p when its pretty obvious that SAG have FST in their sights and have loads of cash in the bank?

No news yet and look good buying and steady rise last few days, just the way we like it... shows that either sbtx have been undervalued last few weeks or that some lovely news has leaked, or directors buying...

I expect good news from the trials within the next 2 weeks, in fact i think those near the company already know the trial has gone well hence the pleasant rise in the sp over this last week. i imagine SBTX has shared the trial results with the multi-national cosmetics company who are already interested so would not be surprised to have an RNS detailing the trial results together with news of a deal with the major cosmetics company. 40-50p on the cards if the trial results are positive IMVHO

Yes Hugh, I was just reading this from the RNS a month ago...
“study on track to complete during Q1 2019”
Well that means no more than 2 weeks to go before we know just how effective this product is.
If the results are good the sp should go back above 30p and then I would expect quick news as to how the major international cosmetics firm plans to put this into production with a timescale for the product to hit the shelves. Here’s hoping that all happens this year and we hit £1 by Christmas

FWIW I see this as being news to the BOD as much as us. Why? Because the RNS landed at 0900 and if this move was known to the BOD yesterday then today’s RNS would have landed at 0700. I think he resigned this morning. But why? Maybe he is at odds with the other BODs about the direction 7D are heading, maybe he has another job offer he could not turn down, maybe he has a health issue? I think the fact that there was no reason given in the RNS for his sudden departure gives me cause for concern. Normally a reason is given. None the less I think 2019-20 will be great years for 7D and I look forward to and expect many very positive RNS’s in the coming months GLA TLH’s
