The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Is this going to be our “transformational year?”
Favourite part of the Sky article for me is this...
“Some leading investors are frustrated that Audioboom has suffered from broader sentiment towards London's junior AIM market, and believe it should be valued comparably to US peers, which typically trade at about four times revenues.”
Which would value BOOM at £7 for 2019 revenues and £13 on predicted 2020 revenues
We should see a nice blue day tomorrow, maybe even an RNS on the back of “media speculation”
GLA
Well Fatal, may I point you to this part of the RNS.....
“To the extent that the initial subscription proceeds of the Fund exceed this predefined amount, the Fund may either request to acquire additional new shares directly from the Company (should the Company agree to issue such shares), or the Fund may seek to purchase existing shares openly on AIM, making the required market disclosure in either scenario.”
So the fund can request new shares from the Company, the company could say no and then the fund may seek to purchase existing shares openly on aim, or the Company may say yes but the price for any further shares is 3.5p (or whatever level the SP is at that time) no where do the Board say they will issues loads more new shares at 2p. We shall know more tomorrow morning.
How does that song go...
“The sun'll come out
Tomorrow
So ya gotta hang on
'Til tomorrow
Come what may
Tomorrow, tomorrow!
I love ya tomorrow!
You're always a day away!”
So the mutual fund closes on Friday, presumably about 16:30 Nassau time (which is 5 hours behind GMT) so I expect an RNS about that first thing on Monday 10th. They legally can’t rns about that before it closes I reckon, and they are unlikely to rns about that at 2130 GMT on Friday. Now, with the SP 70-80% above the MF buy in price anyone investing in the MF will be sitting on a great profit even before it closes, so I fully expect the MF to be very well over subscribed, and if the BOD decide to issue new shares to satisfy the over subscription then BPC could be funded for two drills, as has been suggested recently. So at that point we can get an amazing agreement with a farm in partner if desired.
Anyway, enjoy the Super Bowl if you like me are so inclined, sleep well, and don’t expect an RNS until the 10th.
Load up this week as I reckon these 3.5p levels will be a distant memory after the 10th.

All us LTHs know this is going only one way until the drill results are made known, and that is obviously UP, the question is... when to sell? When to top slice, when to invest more... I will probably sell 20% on farm in announcement, another 20% on spud, take a lovely profit on both occasions and reinvest elsewhere (7DIG and LSAI if the timing is right) then let the remaining shares have a free ride into the drill results.
just tried 3.5 again
c'mon BPC
finish there or above
I know, all our patience has been well and truly tested for far too long now, however, a trading update RNS is coming soonish and I believe it will show continued progress, I just hope the progress is good enough to spur the sp forward and keep the company fluid without the need for additional funds. If PROX can deliver then I can get a semi on, a semi retirement....
Next Monday should be bright Blue for BOOM when the trading update RNS drops and we also get a taste of what 2020 holds. I expect good news all round, and I’ve worked really hard scraping the Rose tint from my spectacles by the way, I just can’t see this dropping back. Having said that, this is AIM so..... GLALTH (that’s Klingon by the way)
15-Nov-19 15:52:33 220.00 20,000 Unknown* 210.00 230.00 £44.00k
at the time of the trade the bid was 215 and the ask 220 so this was certainly a BUY, and a big £47,000 buy
roll on Monday morning, 7am RNS..?
Wouldn’t the real Rob Proctor please stand up!
Let’s hope this bit of his message stands up to be true...
“Audioboom is in the best shape of its life, as the Q3 results will demonstrate”
Time will tell but he would not write that if it were not accurate, IMHO
GLA
Morning Aerial, LSAI slowly gaining traction and positioning itself as the market leader with Verify. I’m looking forward to seeing the figures in their next trading update, it’s a bright sunny morning!
WTG current Mcap £32M at 70pps
£50M in escrow
£65M damages claim
Total added value £147M or 320pps (possible if we win the damages claim and the S&G claim and get the escrow back)
Which would mean, that after all this time, I and many others would actually have made a decent profit!
I need a lie down now... roll on 8am
WOW, did not see that coming. Should have quite a positive effect on the SP today, and can't wait to follow the trial starting 21st October, this and Brexit coming to a head at the end of October..... riviting!
LTHs our day draws near!
Stop losses being triggered, remember this was below 3p just three months ago, MMs hover up those stop losses and bang - sp rises again
