Shandy, the £100K US Annual Payment is the royalty payment from the US Sweetbiotix Manufacturer and nothing to do with any exclusivity for slimbiome products and hence the £115k payment will be on top of that. Other than that payment announcement there is nothing that couldn't be gleaned from the EOY Results Post period summary which is still the best guide to the 2023 results. As a reminder the breakdown of the 2022 £457K total revenue was as follows:
£24K residual Probiotics sales, UK £112K (£136K including the probiotic sales), US £100K (Sweetbiotix Royalty payment), India £61K and ROW £160K. Now we were told the following in the Outlook"Consumer Health and Ecommerce sales
The OptiBiotix online website has been transitioned from a shop window used to demonstrate product possibilities to partners to a commercial website and optimised to improve the customer experience. The ecommerce business has opened up a number of new channels to market including Amazon UK and Walmart USA to allow customers from different locations/sites to have greater accessibility to our products. Increasing awareness on platforms such as Amazon UK have allowed brands such as SlimBiome to become a best seller within their respective categories. Since the end of 2022 through to April 2023 we have focused more on promoting SlimBiome® Medical as a unique product which reduces hunger and cravings which can be used as part of any calorie restriction weight management plan. This has led to rapid growth with the ecommerce business reaching operational profitability in April and May 2023 with the highest monthly sales on record and a sales increase of 1,200% ", so we are not looking at a 450% increase on 2022 ecommerce figures which I guesstimate at the UK £112,000 revenue figure, but on the uplifted H1 2023 ecommerce figure at £112K * 1200%. Also we were told in the May 23 Investor Meets presentation that actual sales for 2022 to the Gulf numbered 48,300 boxes of slimbiome shots which retail at more than £20 per box so I would say that SOH's forecast sales for 2023 of circa £1.75M for prebiotic fibres is likely to be exceeded.
