In his 10-point plan, Mr Johnson said the country would see water “turned into energy with up to £500m of investment in hydrogen”. By 2030 he wants Britain to have 5GW of hydrogen production capacity and to create the first town heated solely by hydrogen.
There are two leading British hydrogen stocks. Sheffield-based ITM Power is the world’s biggest producer of poly­mer membrane electrolysers. These turn water into hydrogen, which powers cars or heats homes. Its shares have risen by 350pc this year and are held by the M&G Climate Solutions fund.
Sussex-based Ceres Power builds fuel cells that generate power from conventional fuels such as natural gas as well as sustainable fuels such as hydrogen. Its share price has risen by more than 200pc this year.

A report today from the House of Lords communications committee recommends that digital platforms should pay to use newspaper content. We agree. The peers urge the Government to get on with setting up a Digital Markets Unit, a commitment it made in March last year and which it has reaffirmed today. This would regulate online platforms that have “strategic market status” and oversee a new code of conduct.
The Government plans to consult in the New Year and legislate “when parliamentary time allows”. But the Lords report says further delays will have a devastating impact on the industry. The Government could use the Online Harms Bill now before Parliament to force platforms to pay publishers for the right to use content. The existential threat to newspapers, especially local publications, is such that something needs to happen quickly to support journalism that is needed now more than ever.

I see they are using Rotary Air Blasting drilling for the 50 holes in Tanzania for the Haneti Project which is a lot quicker than the drill used for Molopo Farms.

Of course I am because the initial drill was what was deemed necessary to prove the potential of the mine. The second weather adapted plan to accommodate hand drilling was obviously the minimum alternative but with that no longer possible the n the full benefit of the unplanned f drilling has to be questioned

· On 22 October 2020 Power Metal announced the signing of the drilling contract for an initial 500m confirmatory diamond core drill programme to test the Victoria Vein at the Silver Peak Project. The Project includes the Eureka-Victoria Silver Mine, the first Crown-granted mineral property in British Columbia.

So planned to drill 500 m and ended up with 22 m in total, will be interesting to find out exactly what has been gained from this reduced programme. No news on the deep probe left in the Molopo Farm first drill hole and drill rig has not been recalled from the second drill hole so assume that the pyrites and graphine was what had been picked up on the earlier scans. Hopes now pinned on Tanzania for now.
