The study is a food supplement consumer study – it following partner Dutch company Winclove having completed formulation and manufacture of the supplement with a blend of bacterial strains to balance the gut microbiome to address the overproduction of new skin cells often seen in aggressive skin conditions such as psoriasis. The study is to accept approximately 200 applicants and will run for 56 days. There should be quick progress from here – it noted the supplements are currently being packaged ahead of shipment to the company in early February, an expected study start date before the end of February and expected reporting of findings “shortly” after the study with, subject to a positive outcome, a commercial launch and initiation of a clinic-based study looking at specific markers also this year.
