Good post London.
I am baffled and disappointed at where we are with the SP despite the progress of the company.
I am one of those who invested in the company in the 30’s and 40’s so am so am quite a bit underwater. I am therefore open to any sort of idea as to why we are where we are, as no one else, including myself seems to know. There have been a number of guesses and theories.
As I have said, the only people who can do anything is the powers that be. Still waiting......
Knuttie - I wish I knew!
What I have said before is that the only people/s who can do anything about it is the BOD. Even going by this ridiculous idea, I would hope the BOD would be doing something about it, and certainly letting their investors know what they are doing!
BE news is going to benefit the SP and months keep passing without any news on this front, along with JSE listing...
In my mind, these are going to give us the lift we deserve, i just wish we knew more about them!
Come on, do we really think that some Lithium companies / investors would be keeping a lid on our share price!!??
I get the frustration and annoyance about this ridiculous SP performance, however, this theory is lunacy!
Agreed! It is clear to us all that we are being messed around with and it is incredibly frustrating for us all!
Something can be done, and I hope it is in the background, although I am sceptical as we have heard it before and it’s gone quiet. Fingers crossed
I see NM has shared something again on LinkedIn. I do wish he would share some good news about BE as we really should now start seeing something on paper from this side of the business.
As for the pharma, I do remember certain posters stating that this is the share that has most potential on AIM. I have also seen them do something similar on another pharma stock, only to vanish and now do the same on another pharma stock!!
Any good news or results don't really seem to shift it though.
We have had Vanchem, Enerox, RedT, Mokopane, none of which have really done anything to the SP.
The only thing that does seem to shift the SP is prolonged V prices, which is out of the company's control.
Until we see this, or a move away from this Sh**e market, I fear the SP will be continually played with, which none of us long term investors deserve.
The energy side could change things, we have not seen anything from that side of the business thus far though. Lets hope some of those projects in the 'pipeline' come to fruition soon!
Shanchez what on earth are you on about?
You are obviously happy with the decline in SP over the last 12 months?
I personally am not, and I do not believe it is because of what the company are trying to achieve.
Personally, I am am gutted about it, but I have not sold a penny of my significant investment and don’t intend to as I believe in what the business trying to achieve.
You really don’t need to throw accusations when it’s not necessary.
Merlottheboy, I share your frustration and agree with your comments.
I also thought we’d have been further forward than we actually are at the moment, but it is what it is!
I do remember certain posters going on about coins for x amount who are not seen here so often now.
The fundamentals of the company remain unchanged and I just hope they are progressed for us all so we can achieve what we have invested for in the first place.
Have a good weekend all.
Sharesahoy - I am sure they are also, and no, I wouldn't like the Musk approach.
As I said in my post last night there are lots of theories on this BB speculating on why the SP has been falling (not just in the last 2 months). A BOD should be aware of what is happening to the SP...
If the market we are on (AIM) is having a detremental effect on our SP, then perhaps the BOD can do something about it? How many times has JSE been mentioned? Nothing from the BOD of late about this...
One example.
Sharesahoy - thanks for that. Only stating my view.
I agree that his purpose is to grow the business. I have commended him on his business decisions in my previous posts.
My point is that I would think that a BOD would also want to protect the SP and its investors?
Agreed, however, wasn't the SP in a decline prior to covid-19, even with all the good news coming from the company...? The pandemic has given an excuse to drive it down even further, however, we have to be realistic that even with the positive news coming out, the SP was still in decline prior to Covid-19.
This is what I find bemusing and frustrating, the BOD have made positive steps for the business, however, they seem to be ignorant of the SP and the people who are investing in the company, and I am not talking of the last couple of months.
Crazy...?
This is my first post having been invested here over 2.5 years, with several additions to my holdings in the 20's and 30's.
Although the BOD have made some shrewd business decisions over this time, the decline in the SP has been alarming. Perhaps I am missing something on here, but surely (along with decisions to drive a business forward), one of they key roles of a BOD is to protect the share price and give shareholder value?? Whilst I appreciate this has been given to some, for many others, such as myself, I do not see this from the BOD, and quite frankly, do not see them doing anything or caring about it which i find most baffling (Crux interview in not really caring about the SP).
Yes, they have adapted well to this current situation, yes the VIP sounds excellent, yes Mokopane is excellent for BMN, yes, Bushveld Energy shows lots of promise, I could go on, however, all i see is decline after decline in SP and all these theories on why it is happening, from market abuse, to tame sellers, to fall in Vanadium, etc...
At the end of the day, I invested here as I believed in the long term goals of the company, however, the BOD (although being extremely clever on certain transactions) seem to be doing very little in protecting their shareholders and the SP. They will have the best idea over any of us on what is going on, surely they should be doing something about it as everything else positive they do seems to end up knocking the SP down further?
Just my thoughts, fire away if you wish, however, we are all here to make money from our investments and these are my thoughts on my investment!
