Looking back at previous RNS, PET have always issued monthly or bi-monthly update as they like to keep shareholders informed of their operations. IMO, one is due fairly soon :)

That's what I'm thinking, but maybe they will do what George suggested and release a combination of news by 8 Feb 1. New Board Members, Farm In Partner and news on Iraq. News on the Licence for Ghana should be due too im0.

I agree, but riddler is the expert, this has been dying to break out, purely based on volume, just need some news and buyers will be all over PET like a rash. Based on Northland Capitals prediction we could see up to 31p quite quickly, then up and onwards :)

Good assumption, considering the BODs flew to China after their presentation on 20 Nov 13. It's not the first time we have heard this, and it could well be, that a Farm In partner could be from China, but my bets are still on Exxon?

Further to below, riddler and bigitup are spot on, it will be a while b4 any drilling takes place, but more importantly if a Farm In partner is announced we know we are getting close, but there is still a lot to do b4 drilling commences as riddler has stated. The best part of PET is, forget about the Ireland prospects for now, if the Ghana licence is ratified and any news on Iraq is announced then this only adds to the overall picture and we'll see a significant rise in the SP.

Just a quick one. Been looking up PEs and at minus 33 ish, PET is in an excellent financial position, 1-10 is good, 11 -20 is ok and anything above the 20:1 ration is not so good. I'm I right what I am saying? Cheers

and to you, my travels to UAE has been delayed by a week. I sold my shares in LRL yesterday and bought some more in here. I still believe PET and LRL are the ones to be in Q1 2013, but it was a choice between the 2, so I bought more in here :)

Why's the RNS flashing and no RNS, this happened with LRL last month and the day after the RN S came out.....Hopefully we will get one today or tomorrow?

well, over the last few trading days, we've witnessed nearly 0.5m buys to sells. They can't be that many left, one snippit of good news and off they go!

riddler has been keeping us to date with the Bollys...when this breaks it's gonna go. News to come 3 fronts, imo RNS is well overdue, especially about Ghana Licence ratification and Farm In partner for the Porcupine Basin. Defo one to be in Q1 2013, everything looking good, if we get any news on Iraq also, well, boom!!
