CO-OPERATIVE HOUSING IRELAND CHOOSES CASTLETON Co-operative Housing Ireland has chosen to implement Castleton Technology’s housing management, EDRM, agile and reporting solutions. These solutions will also be hosted by Castleton’s managed services division over a 10-year partnership. The project is now under way and is due to be completed with all solutions live in 2018. Pat Moyne, head of corporate services, Co-operative Housing Ireland, said, “Having gone through an extensive phase of research of the housing systems available and a very rigorous procurement process we were delighted to appoint Castleton as our technology partner for a 10-year period.” Paudie O’Shea, new business manager, Castleton Technology, said, “Using our technologies, Co-operative Housing Ireland will embark on a major channel shift, which will help both its sta and tenants. Partick Housing gets ‘desktop as a service’ from Castleton Partick Housing Association has appointed Castleton Managed Services to deliver a cloud-based, fully-hosted ‘desktop as a service’, built on a Citrix XenApp architecture hosted in one of Castleton’s ‘tier III+’ UK datacentres. The project began in June 2017 and the new service is scheduled to go live later this year. Where does the specific suggestion of any kind of 'offer' come from, as opposed to any of the other alternatives mentioned by the company, as a means of taking part in a broader consolidation. Certainly not from the company. Something may happen, but there appear to be options. It's not a binary choice, as their announcement said.

It's all in the RNSs as you say. Like with this 'takeover'. They give every obvious option that may result from discussions from acquisition to takeover, and then say it may be none of them. Shouldn't be any surprises as such here. Wait and see.

From RNSs looks like several companies discussing some form of merger/cooperation, with Mxx considering the merits of taking part in a "broader consolidation." Get a bit more on 26th., if not before.

It will all be down to company performance as we approach half year end, and with revenue divided between 750 customers and larger contracts being long term, coupled with the outlook as given in the finals, below, I see no likely reason why steady cross selling progress ( with ample opportunity in the 750 ) should not continue ( part below ) And maybe one or two bigger jobs. Anyway, with MXCP/Kestrel with a joint 51% and effectively having voluntarily locked themselves in for now, and Kestrel still buying, having been buying higher since May, I continue to hold. Kestrel probably closest to this of 'outsiders'. No knowing, for me anyway, when the seller will be exhausted - but it will end at some stage as Kestrel will know at the very least. Kestrel appear to be dictating the price as it moves along.

Looks like Kestrel or whoever decided that's enough at that price. Can't say I blame them, been letting somebody out and picking them up since May. Don't know where they're coming from, as not a 3% holder if following rules.
