indifferent first drilling RNS suddenly makes the £2m placing look like a good deal, securing cash for a longer drilling programme. At the end of the day its all about what the drilling can discover in the ground and thats what makes all us shareholders twitchy like a bunch of gamblers each time a hole is drilled, like a roulette wheel being spun. Rest of this yr is probably going to be like this, unless they hit a big one early. my average is 2.79 but going to sit this out 'in hope' and might top up if it drops significantly below 1.95.....fortunately was also into rambler and that is starting a 'catch fire'.
low volumes, market awaiting news on the investigation and extent of the problem with the local management. If Isolated and not extensive or systemic, then get ready for SP to motor. If the problem is bigger and more serious, can investors believe what they are being told? then will slip & tread water for some time until management delivers a convincing action plan and slowly re-build confidence, so long as there are no other **** ups! already feels like the management have been accident prone.....sometimes this is culture and not just bad luck...They need to show decisive action and being in control
Taken a punt with a top up on this one this morning, based on the management showing some competence and reasonable comms with shareholders, unlike some on AIM. Hoping this post wont look ironically stupid at a future date!
He should be doing an interview after the next RNS as yet again he won't be able to say anything significant in his upcoming 'chit chat' without informing the market properly before hand. Many investors now lost confidence in what he says, its now about what the company officially says and does. In danger of sentiment going the wrong way here, they really need to get their communications strategy with all investors sorted and on a consistent and professional footing asap. Starting to feel like amateur night! I am now in at an average of 2.87 and really want this to be a success storey for everyone, so please Craig take some advice on how to communicate with shareholders fairly and get on with delivering the massive potential that this company hopefully has. Drill, Drill Drill, release as you go along and the share price will hopefully crack on
The Q in my mind is that if the unreleased Assay results so far were good/exceptional, then they should have released those, built the share price up and then secured the additional funding when the share price was 3.2p+ and not 2.2p, as the short term requirement for more cash was not urgent. This regrettably suggests to me that either the assay results that they have so far are not good enough to expect a substantial share price uplift, so hence they decide to get funding for lots more drilling secured now whilst the market will support it, decent gold price etc.... OR the other cynical but more hopeful thought is might the placing give the management team an opportunity to buy themselves into more shares at circa 2.2-2.3p, before good news is released and the share price makes sweet music for everyone !
Can i please buy your wife a drink !!!!
this is previously issued info, which suggests to me they may well be in an NDA as they cannot say anything new.....as i said the longer the delay for new information, the more likely when news breaks it should be positive. In some respects, the longer it takes the bigger or more complicated the deal should be. These deals would typically take quite some time so the news blackout for the past few weeks fits this. Might well take a few more weeks to get any deal/s done....Keep the faith folks
As per the general tone, now probably in a situation where the longer the wait, the better/bigger the news will eventually be when it breaks.
good fundamentals being 'undermined' by incident prone management. worry is how far & to what degree the problems in Brazil extend, are the fraud issues more significant or even systemic in that environment........a lot of investigation and action required to re-assure any institutional investors now. At some point this should become a raging buy, BUT it make take a few months to understand what was going on 'under the bonnet' and fix to ensure no possible repeat. Having to learn the hard way....
lots of small trades driving price up, ?? all those punters having now been paid putting anything disposable into this. will be interesting to see what Apr 7th brings with new ISA allowances if no news from company beforehand
So who is up for putting the whole of their next yrs ISA allowance on this on 7th Apr, assuming the price keeps drifting down towards 2p?
well thats down to 2.62! The 'thing is' that there was no mention of assey results being awaited in the statement, its as if they don't exist, but that s AIM for you. Problem now is that even really good news might bring it back only to where it was a month ago, poor communication skills/strategy with investors destroying value in short term, lets hope the long term faith of a lot of investors on here is still justified. at the end of the day, its all down to the drilling results and what value can be identified before the cash position runs dry....
inconsistent messaging gradually undermining investor confidence in the management, this is heading for 1.90 unless their is significant news and even that might only bring it back to 3.80-4.00. I say this as a 'sucker' who bought in at 3.80 !
