Sanguine about this as it was inevitable imo. It's in our interests long term I believe BUT only if the result of Izzy2, Zeb CPR and outstanding cash payments are factored in before any deal is finalised. Otherwise as eegbvi has constantly said....how can a valuation be put on the deal??????????? The bod don't look too good in this and striking the deal at this price so soon after their reaction on frantic friday looks suss. It does smack of them looking after their own interests first and their shareholders last. What happened to duty of care?!? Let's hope Izzy2 gushes and forces the terms of the deal to be revisited. GLA.
Zeb CPR would be good. As you say get some good news started.
these usually take several/ many months do they not? so even if this drill is a success as we all hope and expect then there will still be no CPR and in all probability therefore no reflected value in the SP following the completion of this drill which of course is also the end of the campaign......once the CPR(s) is (are) available there will be need to be either a placing to raise finance or a farm-out........so a long way still to go before shareholders may have anything to celebrate? also if further appraisal is still required subsequent to this drill then is a CPR even possible before that additional appraisal takes place?
......so basically you believe that Humpy was in fact a huge success but that the argy election caused NBL and FOGL to suppress the news and now that macri has won we will all be informed that it is commercial and a gusher after all? I still can't see it myself but would absolutely love for you to be right lol
Thanks for your reply. Feb sounds good to me. Fingers crossed. Lets hope that this step out puts a totally different complexion on the CPR(s).
Many Thanks. What would you put the COS at on this step out please?
You are clearly an expert in these matters. I await more of your fabulous political insight with bated breath.
why do you think this is significant? may make anglo-argie relations a little easier generally I guess in the medium term but can't see it adding a percentage point of a penny to the SP in itself right now tbh........why would it ?!?!
''so now its a matter of finding out how big the field is, hence the step out. It will take a few more wells to complete the picture though.'' so you still stand by your statements regarding your expectations of a string of CPR's (for Zeb, Izzy, Humpy) all at the same time in January? Well not Humpy now anyhow....but t'others? Seems very unlikely indeed to me.
agreed......but it's certainly not a given either.....but yes far more likely than not so completely the opposite to humpy which was always odds on to 'fail' fingers and toes crossed then lol
while macri would undoubtedly be an improvement on satchel face there is no way that the argies will relinquish their claim on the Falkands imo I will be delighted to eat humble pie if FOGL announce something different regarding humpy post election but my bet is that is just wishful thinking and there will be nothing of any impact as far as this pathetic SP is concerned the real danger is that the Izzy step out is too bold and then this share will fall to BOR levels with the company having tiny reserves with no CPR's in any case and no cash for any further additional activity. This drill looks like *hit or bust for FOGL from where I'm sat but I will be delighted to hear that this is not the case...?
will nemo eat them?
suspect you are right and the evidence of this campaign supports your theory.....any piece of news good or bad will send the sp south again..... if and when we ever publish CPR's then FOGL may at last see some value reflected in the SP so no point investing here unless you are in for the long haul and like a gamble as for the argie elections I do not believe they will have any impact whatsoever on the flow of ''unsaid news' or indeed the sp..........well of course it could be another reason to kick the sp if there is something I suppose lol
I wouldn't hold your breath
Whaddya mean the it spat the plug out a mile in the air?!
Don't tell us she's going to turn round and head back to Humpy lol
A bold step out. If it's too bold then FOGL will have very few resources to book via CPR and this SP will plummet again :-( A risky hold here right now?
couldn't agree more shabby treatment of shareholders by the bod
more likely
Tesco will soon be offering free petrol when you shop there at this rate lol
