The people that wanted to move house took advantage of Bozza’s and Sunak stamp duty cut after covid, the top of middle class down are feeling the pinch with rising prices, mortgages are being pulled so who will be taking advantage of the stamp duty cuts? Not many.
The business owners will pay 10% more to themselves breaching into the £150k plus the costs / savings return to tax payer will be nowt.
They should have reduced corporation tax further to encourage businesses to take up the vast amount of empty offices due to working from home.
