She had plenty of time to think it through, it was extremely lazy to slap it all on employer NI, but it will come with severe consequences to employment and inflation.

General inflation is more difficult to pass on, because buyers expect you to have forward bought, electricity for example.

There is no shock when you say I need to increase prices because of NI.

What I said was that if I cannot pass on the NI increases I will simply stop, the numbers are that big it will bust businesses if not passed on to the end user / consumer, simple as that.
