Good god, so they haven't even signed a contract for the compressor yet therefore still months away from being installed. Why does this company continually always do things way too late, they never learn.

Thing is Scott, Colin is no different to most ceo's on Aim, continuing to take full wage when obviously the company can't afford it, it will only stop when the company either goes bust or when shareholders finally get some ball's and vote to stop it.

Always hard selling at a loss but sometimes it's necessary to rebuilt the pot. Time will tell if you've done the right thing but I certainly wouldn't want to be holding these shares when the production figures for March come out.

Luckily I sold up in the 20's (it was always jam tomorrow but much worse now). Even at 8.7p the risk is too high to day trade, 5p I might be interested but only as a punt. I feel sorry for all those with high averages sucked in by the resident rampers, unfortunately you see it in every share.

The one thing that is the same with all these jam tomorrow lifestyle companies is that over time the placing gets lower and lower, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see a 5p placing before the year is out.

Any final decision would be years away with appeals, counter appeals and such, even if AST won would Slovenia pay up. ARSO have also said all AST's permits would be cancelled immediately if legal action started. The 2022 concession would not be renewed.

So Colin has basically two choices left, either wait until 2022 for the permits to arrive (highly unlikely) or start again from scratch in another country which obviously would mean massive dilution coupled with consolidation.

I would say the last five years has been a complete waste of time and money but then again the bod have had years of being paid unjust inflated wages, so not too bad for some.

Surely the company is running on fumes by now so I would be very surprised if any compressors have been ordered let alone installed.

Absolutely correct especially the last bit, if all the permits were issued two years ago you would easily be looking at 6p plus now.

Unfortunately since then there has been concerted effort to remove AST from Slovenia either by bankrupting them or running down the clock until 2022, one thing is certain the concession won't be renewed especially if legal action is started.

An 8p placing would/should have been done yesterday when above 10p, too late now at this price.

Agreed, 10 weeks is a long time on AIM, this will drift back down to the 6p range, still plenty of time to load up at those prices before any real news arrives.
