I forgot to add that some of those contacts are quite well known domain resellers and having discussed chill.com with them £1M seems to be about the accepted ballpark figure, of course there's nothing stopping the bod from paying well over the odds in order to acquire the domain name, hopefully the full price will be revealed in the accounts at some point.

Vp, as I've said previously I used to buy & sell .com domain names (for myself and clients) for well over a decade from the late 90's onwards and I still keep an eye on sold price and occasionally in touch with my old contacts in the industry, I can assure you as chill.com was bought with no ongoing generated revenue i.e. (just a parking page) then the perceived value was based purely on the name itself (there is a certain industry standard methodology to ascertain that price) and as such I would be amazed if they paid over £1M for it.

They should have concentrated on selling online from day one rather than stating they were planning to sell in up to 10,000 stores which in my view was purely done to let certain entities exit at a higher price, still at least they now seem to be on the right path with hopefully organic growth and no future pump & dump which obviously a lot in the Telegram group bought in to last time.
No way on earth is the domain name chill.com worth £6-7M I would say less than £1M and even then it would have income attached.
I'm still waiting to buy in once it reaches a price I'm happy with and then I probably hold long term as I think the big swings are now gone.

Ideally I would like to see RBL to refinance the debt with no more placings EVER, then JV, then a buyout by a major once the field has been proved up after a couple of years, at the very least I want to see AM being more honest and open and not treating copl as if only he owns it.

Bolton16, quite simply the market doesn't trust AM anymore with his constant lies and placings, he has absolutely played the lth's here, yes there's great assets but the debts are massive and without RBL or JV there's no forward path.

Well the way I see it, if Trev wants/needs to make money here the only way is for him to pump this to high heaven again preferably via the Prof so the reality is wherever he likes it or not he is somewhat aligned with us little pi's.

Just reread all the posts when I first invested here and it all seemed so positive (at the time), yes the decline in the wells apparently was known but that would have been offset by the installation of pumps but we have no idea if they've been fitted as the bod flatly refuse to give out any information, also it was assumed by many including myself that a few shallow wells in Romania would be drilled and added to the network this past year, why are the bod so adverse to increasing production and the sp?

I never seem to listen to my gut instinct, a few days after buying in here a year ago everyone was ramping it and yet some switched on person mentioned the declining wells in Romania which ran alarm bells for me, unfortunately I held.

The only reason the sp is this low is the woeful inept management who it seems are totally unable to stop wells declining let alone raising production in this era of high energy prices even though we've got ton's of money in the bank to do it, just crazy.

Actually, TW has never liked the company in all it's various incarnations going back to the original HNR IPO which he said then was a fraud.

Yep make or break this week, if same old excuses or certain individuals can't be bothered to turn up then this company is obviously going no where and therefore it's time to move on to other better run companies, would be a shame though as I had such high hopes especially with JA's previous track record which he seems to have squandered here.

So basically, what they're saying is that the alternate offer although far better for current shareholders it would have been very bad for the wonga lenders therefore the current offer stands but to placate those who complained there will now be a smallish Open Offer but only on condition to the passing of all resolutions, no surprise there then.

As for buying another asset, I've seen many times production assets bought below market value from distressed sellers snowed under with debt, sometimes even the banks force them to sell to lower their debt pile, this is where JA's expertise should be used.
