RE: More green boxes than a veg market stall.29 Dec 2021 20:25
haha.. I'm very pro Tern and I chose the believe on the basis of anecdotal evidence that DA is doing well. But I agree with you. Claims like that, just pulled out of the air, are meaningless and are probably written by someone who never learned the academic discipline of quoting sources. I'm probably a lot more optimistic than you, but cannot put a short argument as to why, although I could probably write pages if I was prepared to spend a few hours. This share relies on investor's instincts, wide reading, and interpretation skills rather than hard evidence. And investing here is very much about personal choice. There's an element of gambling. But there is with all AIM shares, and I've been taken in before by directors who ramp their own company with inflated reports and statements in RNSs. This doesn't happen here. The problem is a lack of info rather than a surplus of fed optimism. And I think I prefer it this way.
Your well phrased post made me laugh though. But I'm past taking seriously anything that's written on any board in any country for any of my investments. These problems are universal and perennial. And given that rampers and derampers alike seem to have little or no influence on the share price, Tern's investment value lies in whatever emerges upon an asset sale, whatever the share price is doing in the meantime. In the absence of hard info from what are private companies with no obligation to reveal their status, you either choose to believe or not. If not, leave it alone. And if you do, buy and believe... but don't imagine that posting constant optimism is going to have any effect whatsoever on your eventual returns. And ditto th naysayers.. really, get over yourselves.
