It will be resolved, I have no doubt about that, it's just how it has been done. Three of the biggest miners in the world have a large stake here. The asset is worth $10bn. It needs $150m - $200m (guess) to get to the start line. Any big financial company would pay. The complication is the finance agreement with the shareholders. They have a vested interest to get as much as they can here and will play the company. They are running out of scope, shares wise, so that's why I suspect this could now be the end play. Bought out as cheap as possible. They will still need a vote though...
Jeremy had his chance to say these things in that RNS. Why didn't he?
It's horribly open and uncertain and in my view, deliberate. This price move was engineered.
I just hope Glencore does the 'decent' thing now and make an offer.
I see that as the next move, offer comes in circa 100p. We're all done over but it's better than selling at 65p or lower. It's a total joke. Glencore and co must be laughing. It's practically theft.
I can hold this for as long as needed. Jesus, had thought about leverage recently.
My view is that it has been left open so that it deliberately hammers the price to where the finance has been agreed. No way has a plan not been devised behind this.
I'm going to take a hit but not here, probably get an exit on offer/run after next finance.
There you go, exactly that.
Years of moaning on a board that they have no vested interest in, several times a day with multiple accounts. I mean I know they do but they won’t be transparent about that.
It’s really clear the company needs cash. Best case is we raise £5-10m on announcement of JV. No issue with that.
Worse case the JV collapses, despite transfer of licenses a few weeks ago, and we bankrupt.
Life will move on, regardless, and it won’t change that much in either situations. I hope you have your health and a family/friends because the rest is fairly empty and pointless.
Jesus wept, what on earth has Nokia got to do with anything?
You must think we’re totally stupid to buy your constant moaning on. I’ll buy at 80, no wait, 120, no, 100. You’re either short or institutional. Do one and stop making up flakey macro pictures or bizarre comparisons. Get a life.
