Have you seen any mention of the CVR's yet? I've got no mention of them on my account at X-O

I don't think there is any need for any of us to realistically be miffed about MTL grasping the nettle.

This is potentially a realistic realisation of the resource, which is better than leaving it in the ground and talking about it. MTL is talking the talk for me right now and personally I think they can walk the walk from an Ex-CNR shareholder PoV. There is no denying they got a bargain with the deal!

It's not the 10-20 multibagger touted by Jibbo on the CNR boards years ago (Where are you now?!) but this is a solid start to a promising future and I'm sure as the weeks go on we will become more and more positive that developments are under way!

The RNS is fantastic news, for sure. The increase in the figures is brilliant and pushing the SP higher would be great, however nobody will (hopefully) want to go anywhere until the gold is out of the ground if they are a LTH. Bound to be some profit taking going on, but I can't see it hanging around at sub 6p for long.

Shares have hit my account already - if thats the case maybe some of that carnage is priced in with the swings yesterday.

Hopefully not as turbulent as expected!

The eagle has landed, I have my share allocation in my broker account now.

This is might take a while, don't panic... I also worried about this, this morning, but given that I'm not the only one I'm sure its nothing to worry about hopefully they'll be in place by end of the week!

@ Carefree, I don't think any of us claim to be experts. (Maybe one or two but certainly not me).

I really do think it's not worth bashing the recent movers from CNR over their resolute belief in the BoD of CNR upto now. Just the same as its not worth CNR bashing MTL for paying less than the dream price everyone was sold.

We are here, anyone who doesn't like it can sell and move onto something else. Anyone who's interested in what the new BoD have got to say and the actions they take will stick around.

No problem with Darren fact checking everything at all. The reports should be accurate, but the belief in some of the BoD that they weren't self serving come the end was definitely something which multiple people felt was true.

The deal with MTL wasn't the dream we were told and promised (from memory - and I'm happy to be corrected, at one stage MC was talking about £1.20-£2 per share).

Now I'm not saying I've been living in cloud cuckoo land expecting that, but it does illustrate where the disbelief comes from. Evidently, the performance of CNR over the last 12 years regards its share price is poor.

Would I go back 12 years or so and still invest in CNR? No.

Is the deal what we were sold by CNR for years? No.

Is the MTL BoD capable of doing something productive with the shell of CNR? I absolutely believe.

At the end of the day, the company was worth what someone was willing to pay for it and the package is better than no deal and sliding into complete meltdown to the view of myself and many other ex Condorians.

I have no real experience of Candy, just what I've read on the boards I will do some research and see what the fuss is about.

Glad Jim doesn't get to throw his toys out of the pram and get his own way any longer.

Good to know, thanks CK - I don't have any experience with the process to be honest so these things are always a worry.

Happy to hold here, although not sure I feel Mellon will be useful a Non-Exec Director (but this was probably unavoidable)

Either way some good news this morning from the RNS, happy to hold here given I've spent too long languishing in CNR's depths with little to no progress. Darren and the team deserve a chance to make good in my view.

Your expectations are unfortunately not met, the CNR shares still show in my account and there are no MTL!

Its a worry, because right now I can't exit anything (I wasn't actually planning to).

Potentially anyone who wants to exit after collecting the CVRs has stacked their exit orders for 8AM.

I'm actually wondering if its worth paying for Level 2, just to see the order book and try to get in lower but we know anything busy will be swings and roundabouts!

No MTL shares showing in my account yet!... 40 minutes until the effective date time they suggested that the shares would show.

Trading has suspended on CNR as of yesterday per the RNS. MTL shares should arrive tomorrow and cash on 29th.
