LHC, even for a 'small' holding like I have £0.04 would be around £600 - honestly, that would be a dream come true and I would happily collect that one day. Based on other investments I've got even £0.01 as a dividend would beat any other holding I have that currently pays dividends. The day MTL pays dividends out (which won't include the shares which are given when the first pour of La India occurs) will be a very great day indeed if it comes to pass.

Banks loan out money many times over - also referring to the 2008 financial crisis, the film 'The Big Short' is excellent at explaining how the amount of money riding on private label mortgage backed securities (MBS) was around twenty times that amount of real money invested in MBS. I'd recommend watching it for anyone that doesn't understand what happened in 2008.

Now that we are finally seeing some movement, compared to CNR days, I have to say I'm confident that MTL can pull this out of the back and achieve much greater things.

I would like to see conservatism relating to the POG, particularly as its now reaching new heights and expected to reach $5k. Even if we conservatively take 70% of $5k the POG would still be $3.5k. I think its right that MTL doesn't rerate quickly as the POG moves, promoting quiet confidence in the stock itself and not just hype over what the gold is worth.

Absolutely they can and while it doesn't directly affect my investment its a cost which exists because of the investment.

I have no problem buying more now to cover the next few years of those charges, I'm pretty confident this isn't going to stop here for all the reasons many have mentioned.

Pushing up nicely, investment has tripled since CNR days. I've yet to add more, but could be persuaded to do so at these levels!

A real shame my broker farmed out my portfolio to ii resulting in horrible monthly charges after 6 months. So I will need to add more to cover those.

Nobody knows the market and can predict where it will head for any given share especially on AIM. If my lottery numbers come in later, I'll tell you the ones you should have picked.

If it produces earlier, that significantly de-risks the CVR's from the recent deal - which will improve new investor confidence. It's going to take some time to build that confidence, for those that got in at 5.7p overall, but these are very positive steps to doing just that.

There is no argument - This is positive and excellent news. All things considered less that 6 months until the plant is at La India.

Fair play to Darren and the team, they seem to be taking steps to do what they say they will.

This something that you constantly don't get and label as 'moaners'. For many its just tempering expectations and trying to think about the stock as a balanced argument. Having discussions that don't constantly blow smoke up Darren's rear is no bad thing. Balance is key.

@CFC actually, I take issue with your suggestion I voted to accept... I didn't get a vote either way! I was never given the option.

Proving once again everything has to be done on your terms, proving you completely don't comprehend the post at all.

LTH of MTL being 300% up have every right to be bullish, they're well into profit.

As I've said before it doesn't take much to recognise that some work is required for Ex-CNR holders to realise a profit here. Keeping that in mind really would just help everyone get along.

This applies to non CNR investors getting into the stock now too.

If you're 300% up around 6p, you're probably not going to worry too much if the SP drops to 5p, but with an average of 5.7p, it becomes somewhat more of a concern.

if everyone recognises that without throwing around "You made wrong investment" comments the mood here would be much improved for all.

Doesn't do to rub your gains in other peoples noses generally, pride comes before a fall.

Agree, you'd rather see the shares in the hands of a stable entity with plenty of 'skin in the game' than in the hands of somewhat jittery PI's.
