I have been in and out of this share for about fifteen years. I just cannot make money on it. It makes great profits it’s a cheap share but.. nothing lifts the share price. Every analyst sings its praises and endlessly say that it is cheap and re@dy to fly, but it never does. I am reluctantly calling it a day. I have 95k invested here and would stay in just for the divi if the SP was stable . Good luck to all and I genuinely hope that it one day rally’s for you.

This continual slating of each other is tedious in the extreme. It should be about Lloyds not trying to outdo each other in totally pointless posts. Just my opinion but I can’t find anything recent that resembles informed and insightful posts.

Directors in asos having a field day. Lol. The directors in Asos have bought a few shares,it’s true , but it is so much small potatoes. Today’s RNS states a director bought 500 shares. That to me does not give any confidence going forward.

It is hard to take. I’m in at 5200. The only advice I can give is that in time , probably a few years tbh and it will come back. It could well drop further but if you sell now you have locked those losses in forever. I’m lucky in that I don’t need to sell and determined that the mms are not going to get my cash. It’s a very corrupt market all designed to grab your money.

No fear. We will probably have great results but it won’t be translated to great share price increases. This share will go up eventually but it’s going to take a long time to get into late fifties. I do know that when I get the chance to get my money back,I’m in at 5200, I will be out of this one forever. It’s been a thorn in my side for too long now and just want to see the back of it.

Moose had a feeling that there was an imminent RNS. How did this feeling transpire. Was it an in depth analysis ? A shaft of insight which everyone else missed? An insider using moose as a confidante and giving out company secrets? Sadly,no. Just moose and his feeling. Hmmmm. They upped their short yesterday. I notice they up the shorts on a regular basis, just by a little bit this sending the share price to drop an unreasonable amount. It works from their angle but only because the MMS are complicit in this. I would say it needs investigating but it’s laughable to suggest private investors would ever get a fair and level playing field. You just gotta buy at a price you think is cheap and hang in there.

Even if the market value is reached and the directors get their bonus it doesn’t necessarily follow that the share price will be in line with that figure. So it won’t necessarily double the share price. Slipperz you need to understand a balance sheet, read it ,and digest it

Kittykitty. You are wrong again as ever. Debenhams failed because they were loaded with unsustainable debt by VC. The fat cats got thier pay day and left Debenhams with the baby. Your starting to sound bitter as your entry price isn’t being realised.

It’s gunna b a gamble for next week. We all know Boo will have excellent results. Otherwise it would seriously tank. So the results will be great but as happens so often the SP takes a hammering. what to do? None of us know. I have always held but think I will get out tomorrow. Look to buy back in as even if on the day if it goes up there is always an opportunity to buy back in.

The share price has dropped mainly due to the nearly seven per cent dilution of the shares regarding the convertible bond. Asos need to raise money to keep the growth on track. Whether this has more negative impact on the shares is anyone’s guess. It seems a massive dilution to me and sits uncomfortably. They should have released the statement at the same time as the trading update not hours later. It’s always sleight of hand with businesses. Doubtless Nick Bieghton will reward himself with extra free shares very soon.
