Guys - it will not be a BOP that has gone in. This is on the well from the start - once the conductor pipe is set - it is mandatory. It is more likely that it is a christmas tree which is placed on top of the well for completion and flow testing

Likely they will drill the entire section before wireline logging - why trip the pipe twice

Rate of penetration is not linear

You rack casing to measure it and drift it (check the ID)
You run casing when it is picked up from the rack and run it through the rotary table
So cannot have casing run on a rack.
