DeepVerge PLC (LON:DVRG) could get a significant upgrade on the current target price if Microtox BT receives full clinical validation followed by a CE marking, broker Turner Pope said today.

Earlier, DeepVerge reported initial results from phase III clinical studies of the rapid Coronavirus (COVID-19) breath test showed it can deliver results in under 60 seconds.

Chief executive Gerard Brandon described the early data from the real-world assessment of the Microtox BT system as a “major milestone”.

Researchers found the average virus breath condensate sample provided a nine-times higher signal than the control group when assessed using a specially developed nano-chip for detection.

DeepVerge said further data was required to confirm the same high sensitivity and specificity is achieved on breath test clinical trials, which are underway.

The upward catalyst will be the CR deal and the clear pathway to mass manufacturing

Agreed re CR. Pretty sure that GB is not so stupid to tweet (14 Nov) about the amount that China will spend on waste water treatment if the deal was in any doubt

I believe that the CR deal will be alot bigger that the original JV statement. This I believe will be a game changer in terms of SP.

GB on Twitter recently reminded all of the shear size of the waste water treatment industry in China.....maybe that's a clue that the deal will be announced soon

Since the announcement of the signing of an MoU in the RNS of 28 April 2021, complex commercial and legal negotiations and detailed due diligence between the parties has been underway. The scope of the original Joint Venture has been extended beyond what was originally contemplated. However, both parties are actively seeking to reach agreement as quickly as possible. The timeline of signing an agreement has been extended into Q4, 2021 due to the additional elements being added to the proposed agreement.

From 15th Sept Interims :
Results of the Phase III field trials for real-time detection of pathogens in wastewater are recent but now form part of negotiations with China Resources. These continue to make progress and we will update the market in due course.

I was in this stock a few years ago but left - there were better more dynamic plays out there at the time. I am back in with 370k
shares. This is now a dynamic significant upward play. The time to be in this stock is now. So much news to come

The way I see it is when they announce tangible progress with their blockchain project this could do 100’s of % in a trading week
