Hello Everyone. With Chk1 now back with Sar it makes it much cleaner if GSK want to acquire us, as all the eggs are now in one basket. If Chk1 was still in their portfolio with us commanding an an interest in it, surely they can't buy their share in it twice, or is that what would happen if they did acquire us?? All responses to "confused.com". Also don't forget they now have no liability for it's ongoing development costs, milestone payments or royalty payments, previously they were on the hook for $290M if they continued to develop it. They could use the $290M plus a bit more to acquire the whole of SAR, 1801 + 1802 included and develop all products in house. Gla. Andy. ;+)

Once the current wall to wall coverage of the sad passing of QEII abates, and the energy cap issues are resolved, I'd presume the miserable buggers on the rolling news programs will batter us with Covid again. !! As it was last time, this could be the catalyst for SAR to start a significant move north, especially if we were to receive grant funding for the next steps of research. TM continually mentions our potential to have efficacy against SARS-COV-2 so don't be surprised if something arises once Covid news inevitably raises its head again. All imho. Finally on this note it's disturbing to see the Chinese still invoking strict lock-downs, and mask protocols, what do they know that we don't.. ?? GLA. Andy. :+)

Maybe all three. ;+) Surmising on here of when news will drop, the nature of the news and the Bod's perceived inadequacies won't make things happen any sooner. I've done well out of Sar as have many others, and now sit with a free carry of quite a lot of shares which I will hold until we fail or get taken over. When I first invested here twelve years ago I knew we had to think of the long game, and have stoically held throughout many false dawns and some disappointments, as well as realizing some profits. However Tim and John sit with around 1.5% each of the shares in issue and whilst they continue to hold I will too. People seem to forget that as well as being board directors they are also investors in the company just like us. Gla. Andy. ;+)

Hello Ahfam. Always read every day but now only post when there’s something to say. I’ve been quietly adding again since consolidation having taken a little profit last year. For what it’s worth I think we’re about to see some action after a period of calm. Hope you’re well. ;+).

Hello everyone. News on progress very soon imho. Jubilee holidays out the way and school holidays around the corner also into H2. Good time to light the fuse under this rocket. Gonna be a busy rest of the year and will be interesting to see what GSK do with Chk1. Gla. Andy. ;+))

A good solid presentation today, clearly showing timelines and expectations. Lots of references as to how SAR will monetize 1802, 1801 and 737 looking very likely to take steps towards commercialization now GSK owns it. Can't see anything not to like. Been adding quite substantially since consolidation and will continue to do so until mid year when we should head into trials. It's always been my expectation that a takeover will occur and now would seem to be the perfect timing, two products entering into Phase 1 trials and one most likely going into Phase 3. For many companies with a dwindling pipeline of new products SAR has to be a no brainer. Gla. Andy. ;+)

So we’ve had some comers and goers over the last few months of consolidation. Smart money was buying stock or sitting tight whilst the disparagers were desperately trying to pull the price down for whatever motive. Sit tight or add would be my recommendation and let the science prove out. Gla. Andy. :+)

Yea. I don’t get it. I’ve got a live platform and can see all trades. Just can’t understand why Hsbc have suspended buying the stock. !! I can sell them but not buy them.
Probably just them being inefficient. Let you know the outcome when I get a reply from them.

Hello All. I just tried to buy SAR through HSBC and had the following message.
"So it shows that trading is still suspended due to a recent corporate action. "
I informed them the consolidation was completed weeks ago.

Hello Aber. Hope you’re well. Like me you’ve been here many many years so will be well versed in the semantics of the share price and the mood swings which can influence price movements. When I bought Sar twelve years ago it was with a view to hold till the end game which I still believe will be a takeover. So whilst I recognise sentiment is not very positive at the mo it could all change very quickly. I guess I’ve become a little impervious to short term views over the years so will continue to hold rightly or wrongly history will be the judge. Gl fella. Andy.

Nothing has changed apart from a few shorters and bed wetters turning up. People often say on here how did the long term holders make money on this stock. Quite simple buy the low’s and take some profits when they are available. I guess like me many lth’s are on a free carry so couldn’t give a fork about the mm’s daily antics whilst we wait for 1801 to enter the clinic. Gla. Andy. ;+)

Hello All. Looks like a "short squeeze" in play, they'll have to close out their spread bets and CFD's before the consolidation.
For those who are a little "challenged" and been posting here recently, don't forget there's only 28 days in February and its not a leap year, so shop early.. !!

Hello Mayonnaise. It's true that many consolidations don't go well, having said that if you consider small cap oil companies they're famous for issuing shares into oblivion, consolidate, then rinse and repeat. I suspect things are different here, Tim and John are coming to retirement age and no doubt want Sar to put the icing and the cherry on their pension cake, as their legacy to the company prior to its most likely take over. Also, given you've been here for a period of time you are in profit, why not take out your initial investment then you'll be at ease with yourself regardless of events post consolidation.
