anyone remember tom, and maybe some other folk who banged the drum for tom winnipeg (sic) ?
well many years ago i invested a small amount of money in his t1ps smaller companies growth fund. to be fair it did okay for a while, and he set up another one.
to cut a long story short the next year or so was carnage. they weren't particularly challenging times, but as i remember disappeared down the toilet. the whole thing was taken over at zero value, i think by webb capital
anyroad up, i received a corporate action circular yesterday - from a company called ukullo plc - never heard of them.
it turns out they were formerly gdi media plc/intandem films plc - set up to invest in independent british film production, who underwent a company restructure and conducted a company voluntary arrangement, resulting in a simplified group corporate structure (!!!!!).
now they want to delist in order to "use their assets" - namely "tax losses, and a diverse shareholder register" to
invest in shetland space centre trading as saxavord uk spaceport, and cling on to the coat tails of its forthcoming ipo.
i merely post this to illustrate the complete *******s that exists on junior markets, and the credentials of someone who's self confessed fans were trumpeting on here.
i am sure non of this is still going on though
